Default Weigh Down Workshop & Weight Loss Buddies

Hi everyone. I have lost some motivation with losing weight-stress has been a BIG factor lately. So anyone wanting to jump in and be my weight loss buddy and help with support and motivation, feel free!

I was also wondering if anyon has tried the following program. It is called the Weigh Down Workshop. It is a bible based 12 week program and although I am not all that religious (and you don't need to be to follow the program) it is a good program. Although, some of what is said, I don't necessarily believe or follow, I think overall the program is good and motivational.

It teaches you how to eat healthily, and is based on listening to your body for what it needs. There are DVDs, CDs, a couple "tip" booklets and a weekly workbook/journal that help you through the weeks and struggles.

My mom did weigh down a few years ago and she lost like 30lbs in just a month or two. It's a pretty easy format...eat when you are hungry and stop when you are full. She ate her desserts first and like I said lost 30 lbs. Good Luck.

We may be in the same position...I've been wanting a buddy also, so seeing your message really got my attention!!!! I'm emailing from Auckland, New Zealand, so the time differences will be different, obviously, but feel free to email anytime.

Never did the program but it sounds interesting? Would love to see how you do on it, if you plan on going thru with that program...

Smile On my "weigh down"!

I have been on the program about a month and I have lost about 20lbs! I love the principles of the program! I don't agree with all the things that Gwen teaches at the meetings and seminars but the diet program seems to be sound. It is blessing my life!
