Well, you have it set to 1000 for now which is what your doctor recommended. Just be sure that you don't go under, even on days that you don't exercise. You can always bump it up later once your metabolism gets better ... you might even hear that grumpy doctor of yours to tell you to eat more!
Try to think of exercise as a means of improving your body's ability to burn fat rather than a means of burning calories. The goals are there to be sure you're continuing to improve your level of fitness. It's the only way to keep our bodies from adapting to our calorie deficits. You're going in the right direction ... you're able to listen to the doctor and not go hungry. That's a big step already. You have a plan in place and are following it. Now it's time see where that takes you. Enjoy the energy. Enjoy your workouts. And dream a little as you continue to work hard. |
