Hey...I spent some time reading most of these threads earlier today and I've decided to give the diet a try!

I went and bought soy/whey protein powder (2 in 1) and soy milk. I made a trial shake today to make sure I like the taste...and it was very yummy! I even had energy to do 2 miles on the treadmill!

I will officially weigh in tomorrow and I want to lose 15-20 lbs total, but even 10 would be great for now!

I bought frozen fruit and bananas to mix in the shakes. I also bought Kashi granola bars and yogurt for snacks. Lean cuisine and smart ones for dinner! I also have some Boca burgers to add some protein to lean cuisines (I'm not a big meat eater).

ok...that's my plan. I am going to make 2 shakes in the morning, so I can have one to drink at work during lunch.

Default day 2

day 2 on the diet...yesterday was good. I was a little hungry, but nothing that drinking some water and distracting myself couldn't fix!

Hi Sarah, welcome aboard!

It looks like I'll only be here one more week. I lost a whopping 3 pounds this week bringing me only 1 pound away from my goal. Go figure.

I think I'll keep the morning shake because it's delicious and I'm usually on the run in the mornings. But I'll be looking into other foods for lunch to replace that lunch shake.

Ok I'm done. Goal reached. 132.2 lbs.

I decided to take on another fitness program to get my body fat down and increase my fitness level even further. I probably will lose more, but I don't need or want to work towards that now that I'm "healthy".

So good luck everyone! This plan makes the basics simple: moderate protein, lower fat, smaller meals (just more frequently), etc. It's not the only way; it's just simple considering 2 main meals are tossed into a blender in a matter of minutes. No excuses of not having time or being too expensive ... and it gives you all the energy ou need to enjoy working out.

But you still need to work out and you still need to keep your muscles fueled with the proper foods.

Sarah, if you have any questions, just ask. I'll keep an eye on this forum in case anyone needs help.
