Default Advice on Weight Loss/Personal Trainers

Hello,
I am 255 pounds, and I am 32 years old. I workout M,W,F-Cardio, and T,Thurs-Weights. I do Tae Kwon Do in the evenings. Would a personal trainer be helpful? What are the benefits for a trainers?? Any good advice on losing weight? Terri

I've hired a trainer for lifting and I've taken some group personal training classes before.
If I had the money, I'd hire one forever to workout with me twice a week but it's expensive.

If you're doing cardio 3x a week and weight AND martial arts, yet you are over weight then there is something amiss. What are your workouts like? What is your diet like? Could you have a thyroid problem?

I had a personal trainer briefly at the local gym. While she did help me out with learning how to use all of the weight machines, I think I could've gotten the same benefit without paying for the training if I had just asked someone there how to use the machines.

Not only that, but most of them have pretty clear pictures for how to use them.

Maybe you would get more benefit than I did, but I think there is enough information out there, from the internet, library, or even just asking one of the people who work at a gym to give you some tips.

i work along with a personal trainer, whilst he's working with other people,so i have a fairly good idea how stuff work, but yet i am overweight( eat too much) however, if u r doing strength training, cardio and tae- then that sounds good- just stick at it- u didnt mention how long u've stared this program and if u've dropped any inches yet. remember u r doing weights so u might loose inches faster than u loose pounds
