I'm a 40 yr old divorce woman. I've been heavy for the last 14 years...I'm 5'4 and now weigh 232lbs. I've tried everything from diet pills, Dr. Berstein diet, weight watchers etc.. but found my most effective way i've lost weight was doing it with a friend. it was then that i went from 230 to 200... but alas she moved away overseas. So having someone to talk with, share experiences, advice, hints and friendship with, is what i am looking for. Doing it alone (since i live alone or soon will be lol.. chandler knows this story lol
) but i'm focusing more on me now.. so if anyone would like a "buddy" to help with theirs and mine progress it would be great...hope to talk to you soon.

I'm right there with ya! I know it makes it a lot easier when you have people that are in it with you. We can help encourage and push each other! I just started working out a week and a day ago, i'm also changing my diet, I know it hasnt been long, but i'm starting to feel better already!

Same here! Trying to lose weight but i have no one but myself to talk to...& no one really to encourage. I'm young...& I just had 2 kids & I'm trying to lose the baby weight. I gained in total about 70lbs from both of my kids. I dont want to be as skinny as i was before..but i would like to be around 130 But i'm 175. So I just need someone to talk to to help me. Anyone have any good weight loss ideas??Or encouragement?? lol

Hi again, just wondering how you are. My son starts school again next week and i will be starting my weight loss plan exercising + reallistic diet. I will have up to an hour and half in the mornings and evenings. I have started to eat and enjoy lots of veg, my plan is to have dinners with lots of differant veg with chicken or fish with no sauces, salads etc. I have gone off potato's though lately. I was going to try diet pills but cannot take them because i'm diabetic,i will have a treat at the weekend though otherwise people tend to give up on diets too easily, what do you think. What are your plans? let me know. Speak soon Madness30
