Default help me lose 10lbs! Advice?

Hi, Im new to the forum. Im 20 years old and ive recently gained about 10-15lbs. I know that doesnt seem like much but i used to be really thin so this sudden weight gain is very noticeable and i dont feel as confident about my figure as i used to. Anyway, ive started trying to watch what i eat and work out as often as possible as a start. Also, ive been researching weight loss supplements and vitamins but everything seems to have so many downsides or they dont seem to work.

Does anyone know either any good supplements to boost weight loss or do you have advice just to lose only about 10lbs?

Im so confused! lol

Eat a healthy well balanced, mostly fruit/veg/whole grain diet of proper portion sizes and exersize. That's it, all it takes.

Thats what im trying to do at the moment, but it seems to be taking so long! Are there any type of exersize that will speed this up?! lol just kidding, more like just help me focus on my problem area, my lower stomach? I wish regular crunches did the trick to get rid of that little pooch!

losing 10 pounds for a short time is not really healthy..there is a big possibility of gaining more weight if you do that.. just take your time.. eat foods with low calories.. avoid fast foods. especially french fries.. i know.. its yummy..

im also trying to lose weight.. and for less than 3 months.. i lost 4 pounds already.. i dont eat rice anymore.. instead i eat a lot of veggies and fruits.. because its heavy. exercise! jogging really helps.. i bought this exercise clothes that make you sweat.. and it really works! i sweat like !
if you feel like giving up.. take pictures of you.. and look at it.. and think that you want to look better.. it helps..
you have to be determined to lose weight..

and if you already lost a few pounds, take a new photo of you.. and see the difference! it makes me really happy! hahaha!
have 1 day fiesta time.. you can eat anything you want.. just to have something to look forward to.
eat healthy.. and take your time.. enjoy it!

i to am losing weight and have some great dvds that will help with the tummy problem. its not centain around that but it is in every workout i do. you cant just stop reduce you have to work your whole body. the dvds i have are by jillian micheals, 30 day shread, trouble zones(that will help alot) and bainsh fat. there great workout and help you get through it. since i started i lost the most inches in my waist and thighs. so i know it will help for the tummy. i hope i could help. and good luck.

Here's a bit of a strange suggestion...im trying to put on weight (believe me its just as hard as losing) anyways im turning to homeopathic medicine. I have a friend who has gained a few pounds by taking some homeopathic medicine. In your case for weight loss i do know that they have medicine for that too...great thing is its all natural! maybe look into that and see if it works for you?

Im waiting on my medication to arrive

If you drink alot of sodas they can really add up.
And by not drinking any can make you drop 10 pounds in probably about 2 weeks.

Hi Nana7. I am not surprised you are confused with so many supplemments and diets on the market. Some of them work for some people, but there is not
one method of weight loss that works for everyone, obviously. In your case,
if there were no significant changes to your lifestyle or eating habits, I would first check the overall health, hormmones included. Then determine how much
white bread you eat. Another important thing is, where the extra pounds are:
evenly distributed all over the body, or in specific areas like stomach, or hips.
My personal experience with weightloss supplemments is disappointing - I also
would like to lose 10-15 pounds. I have tried thermogenics, detoxes, never anything with warning signs on it or nervous system stimulants. I found that
sticking to low carbohydrate intake with 1-1 protein - vegetables ratio works
well, that is 100g fish, meat or chicken +100 g vegetables {raw, cooked, stir fried) for example. Jam toast, or commercial cereal for breakfast is bad news too. Recently I started drinking Wuy Tea, 2 cups/day. I noticed my waistline
shrinking, even though I still have my daily chocholade and I am not on any dietary restrictions. I do eat white bread very occasionally, though.

thanks! that was a ton of really helpful advice.

bananapancake: i actually stopped drinking any pop months ago, it hasnt really helped with weight loss but it has helped clear my skin a bit!

drolszanka: i have been trying to eat healthier, mainly by watching how many grams of fat im eating per day. not sure if thats working yet but i am eating way healthier now!

hmm - my own way for weight loss. i loose about 6 kg in around 3 weeks. what exactly i did. i can;t say that this is a secret because its very popular in india. i hope you are drinking tea.

here is the receipe of special weight loss tea.

1. boil water.
2. add sugar according to taste.
3. add tea according to taste.
3. now you are thinking about milk, sorry to say don;t add milk .
4. add half spoon of fresh lemon juice.
5. mix it.
6. have fun!

when to drink this tea?

when ever you feel hungry , drink this tea , and eat your meal.

how its work?
it will decrease your hunger. so you will eat less.

benefits:
1. glowy face.
2. weight loss.


disadantage:
1. it will stop you to eat.
2. reduce your weight.

come'on its home remedy so no disadvange.

how i know this receipe:
In India i went to a village , there few people can;t even manage two time meal. they used to drink this tea to stop their hunger. then i decided to try this on me. previously my weight is around 80 kgs and now my weight is 65 kgs. good weight for 5'10 height.


simply says : just control your hunger and you will loose your weight and this lime tea will help you .
