Hi all,

Well I started on my apidexin today, and wanted to keep a log of my diet, exercise etc. so I can chart my progress. So here goes:-

Day 1

Weight: 74.2kg

Weightloss to date: 0kg

Weightloss goal: 11kg

Pills: 8am, 12.45pm (including detox pills)

Breakfast: 8.30am I had one low-carb vege muffin

Snacks: 10.30am I had one low-carb vege muffin; at about 2.30pm I had a few handfulls of potato chips as I felt a little 'funny' and as though I needed something savoury

Lunch: 1.10pm I had chicken and salad (lettuce, tomato, onion, mushrooms) and a few sips from a can of Coke Zero

Dinner: chicken nachos (I know, bad! I was shopping for my mum's b'day gift)

Water intake: 2.5litres

Exercise: 10 minute walk to the shops at lunch to buy some new boots! And a few hours walking around the shops in the evening looking for a gift.

Comments: Feeling fine, have not experienced any side effects so far. Remaining optimistic!

Day 2

Weight: 73.5kg

Weightloss since yesterday: 0.7kg

Total weightloss to date: 0.7kg

Weightloss goal: 10kg

Pills: 8.15am (including detox pills); 12pm

Breakfast: 8.35am I had a bowl of low-carb, high-fibre cereal

Snacks: 10.10am I had a low-carb almond & cranberry bar; at about 2.30pm I had a small milky way; few handfulls of potato chips in the evening

Lunch: lasagne and salad -- although I couldn't eat it all, and 1/2 can coke zero

Dinner: noodles from noodle box

Water intake: 2.2 litres

Exercise: none

Comments: Slept fine last night, and woke up this morning without needing to hit 'snooze' 10 times! I actually got up an hour earlier than usual as I had to prepare a few things before work, and am amazed at how easily I woke and how much energy I had...not sure if it's just because it's friday (friday buzz) or because of the pills.

Days 3 & 4

Weight: ??

Weightloss since yesterday: ??

Total weightloss to date: ??

Weightloss goal: ??

Pills: 5.45am (including detox pills)

Was working at a festival from 6am - 6pm each day (Sat and Sun), and so only got to take my morning pills. No breaks, so just ate on the run -- and of course it was all festival food so all bad! Plenty of exercise across these 2 days though, as we were flat-out serving customers food/coffee all day. Not staying at home at the moment, so no scales to weigh-in with. Still no side effects, feel completely normal, just can't eat as much! Feel very full very quickly, which is great!

I'm sorry sweetheart but you've got to step your game up.

Key words that I saw that will guarantee you failure - sausage, bacon, chicken nachos, eggs, no exercise. None of this should be mixed in with a weight loss regimen.

There is no miracle pill. There is only you. You are the key.

Optimistic - I see what you're doing here, but with all due respect it isn't going to work. I'm not telling you this to make myself feel good, i'm telling you this so you don't waste your valuable time. I'm trying to help.

At best, and I mean *at best* you will maintain your current weight. In order for you to LOSE weight there has to be a deficit of calories, meaning that you burn more than you take in. If you are not exercising, or drastically reducing your caloric intake, this isn't going to happen.

And i'm dead serious, you cannot eat sausages, eggs, noodles and chocolate in *any* quantity and expect to lose weigh. This just isn't possible.

Think about it, with the time and energy you are taking to post here, you could be out running.

Best,

edward

Hiya,
Thanks for your tips. The purpose of the diary is really so I can see where I'm failing/succeeding, and to keep me honest! lol I do actually realise that I need to make improvements, and am trying to. I have lost over 25kg in the past few years by cutting carbs out of my diet -- this means that I CAN eat eggs, meat etc. for protein, as that is how the diet is based -- and it WORKS for me. However, I do also realise that eating the noodles and chocolate are NOT part of that diet! lol Clearly I need to work harder to cut these out of my diet again all together, and am definitely working on that. For me, I work full-time (which includes an hour drive in each direction every day), plus study full time, and am also renovating a house and caring for my mother-in-law. So additional time for exercise is pretty much non-existent. But will take your advice on board and try to include it somewhere. Also, the time that I take to post in this forum cannot be used for 'running' as I do it when on a small break at work, but can't leave my desk.
Thanks again for posting -- how is your weight loss journey going?
