Default Losing Weight

Hi guys.
I'm new to this forum, I've just joined and looking forward to get involved.

I joined to get some advice. I'm 22, a size 16, and (as I've only just discovered) weigh 12.5.
My best friend has now set a date for her wedding, and it's a year a way. I'm her Head bridesmaid, and so we were planning the wedding tonight. She is planning on buying her and our dresses about February/March next year.
So I have 5/6 months to get slimish to look good in the dress. Ideally, I'd like to get to a size 12, however I'm not sure if that's possible. Our family is very top heavy, and big bottomed.

As I said I'm currently a size 16, and am a 36 ff. I'd like to look slim in the dress, and maybe not as 'busty' as everyone knows me to look.

ANy advice?

If you start really focusing on your nutrition you can do this! How is your eating now and are you active in working out? It is possible to do this in 5/6 months. Here's what we can do, keep a log of what you ate and the time you ate. I would be happy to help you out. I went from a size 12-14 in July of 2004 to a size 4-6 now and have kept it off for 5 years now! It can be done if you really want it! I would love to help!

Start walking every chance you get and taking the stairs rather than an elevator or escalator. If you're driving, park and far end of the car park. Avoid just sitting or standing; stretch, go up on tip toes, to toe points front, side and back, find little ways to stretch.
Cut out all cola, refined flour, fried foods, for breads eat only whole grains. LEan meats, lots of greens and veggies.
