My advice is to use your graduation as motivation to start exercising again...start off small though, maybe a jog around the block then possibly join a start club or something along those lines. Set yourself a goal and try achieve that!
Good luck
Hello! I'm Natalie and I'm 18 (a high school senior)! I have been having so many body issues this year. I used to be really active and in sports every year. Freshman year was my fourth year of Lacrosse and I was in great shape, specifically I had great legs!I weighed about 145 pounds. I stopped playing sports and focused on art and theater, which left all exercising out of my life. The other day I went to the doctor and I weighed 187 pounds at a height of 5"7. I am shocked and devastated that I have gotten to this point. I have big thighs and a big butt now, and my love-handles have stretch marks. I understand that this weight gain is a result of no exercise. The main problem I have is getting motivated. And I go to a school full of skinny girls who have no trouble staying skinny, even though they don't work out and eat horribly. I have high school graduation in May and leave for the Bahamas a few days after, and I'd love to lose the weight and be healthier at a weight of about 147 pounds. I really want to be fit before these important events, and most importantly confident again.
Any advice?![]()

Lifes not about how many breaths you take its about how many moments take your breath away!
Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss it you will land among the stars
Believe in yourself, you've been there.
I suspect you have an old picture put it up on your wall, and see it every day.
Then you will see you can do it, you did it before, you have a goal, where your going away, it's a goal.. TAKE THE CHALLENGE.
Live your dream and goal out....

you must believe!
Thanks guys!
Aaaaaand, green smoothies!Supplement breakfast and maybe lunch (unless you're at school, that could get, err, tricky) with a smoothie comprised of green leafy veggies (the darker green, the better, any will do) and some frozen fruit (bananas, strawberries, other berries, and non-frozen apples). Add some flax seeds in there, maybe some soy milk, and blend it all together. It'll be unbelievably delicious and will curb your appetite for all that junk food that everyone else is eating. (Because let's face it, the problem isn't just the exercise, it's the junk food too, right?) And best of all, it'll give you TONS of energy.
Enjoy and good luck!
