    Hey girls.
So, yeah I have a problem. I'm currently doing my Alevels at college, and ive noticed that ive started putting on weight. I have joined a gym and I have a job also, it's just I don't have the motivation or time to work out whilst working and concentrating on my career. I drink too much diet coke and tea for my own good and the cafeteria doesn't help with all the indulgent pizzas, bacon ect.
Would you share your tips on how to lose weight? I don't want to become stick thin as im 5ft 3' and I have larger than average breasts. I just want to be more proportionate and healthy in what I do. I feel that my compulsive eating when i'm bored and my lack of excersice is doing me no good.
    Thanks
    H x

    Welcome to the Forum Helebell....

There's your answer sweet, it's bordem but then you study, work and try to go to the gym so there's not much time for you is there..

So, I think it's "comfort".. you have so much going on in your life, this little slice of pizza/diet drinks, makes you feel "better", like you've had some "me time", something for you, just for you.

So, change your thought pattern there... Your studying for a reason... Your working for a reason....

Follow that dream, those goals and find other comforts, like a favourite book to read when you feel the need to have some "me time"... and look at the pizza and fizzy drink and say, don't need you anymore, especially the bacon

Just eat right.. You know what you can't eat and what you can eat to maintain a good weight..

And, change your thought pattern from "me time" equals, catching up with my friends, or reading, or walking in the park, or laughing over the phone with someone... that's your comfort not food.. You kind of don't have a life with all that going on

I'm 16 too and I also feel like I need to lose weight, so you're not alone.
I don't eat very bad at all...I eat quite healthy actually.
My main problem is exercise, I don't do much at all. I'm not too excited by the word 'exercise', so I think my main problem is motivation.

I think your problem lies with compulsive eating. No matter how many times or how long you workout in gym, you can never lose weight without adjusting your eating habits.
