Default MACA, has anyone tried it?

My husband has been taking it for a couple of weeks now and he's already noticed a difference. I want to take it but I've read that it increases fertility in women. We are not ready for kids and I'd hate for it to counteract my birth control and an accident happen.
I was hoping someone has tried it and they can let me know if they had any adverse side effects. The only issue my husband has had with it is that he'll forget to eat for hours and then get really weak and shaky so I have to remind him to eat.

    Hi

Yes I have tried macca and so have my parents. They say it improved them in a lot of ways - weight loss, more energy and in the bedroom...(yuck). It is herbal so it wont conflict with your medication. Personally it didn't do a thing for me but I have alot of medical issues thus could be the reason. The only side affect that I know of is smelly gas and sometimes diarrhea.(duarrhea from maybe flushing the yucky stuff out of your system.

    I hope this helps.

    Have you had any luck?

I haven't tried but I did want to say to definitely do some research and make sure that there are no drug interactions. Just because it is herbal *does not* mean it won't counteract with BC or other medications. If you're not sure, you should always check with a physician or your pharmacist to be sure!!
