Default Need to lose weight for wedding 4 months away! Is this a good plan?

My wedding is scheduled for May 1 and I really really want to slim down so I feel better and look better. I am 25, I am 5'4" and weigh 225 the last time I weighed in October! I hit a low, got extremely depressed over problems with work, money, etc and just gained a lot. I was down to 190, and in the course of 1 month I went up to 225.
    Here's my plan of action:
For breakfast I either have shredded wheat with 2% milk and a buttered english muffin or once in a while a bagel with butter or cream cheese. I drink grapefruit juice with breakfast because the juice is supposed to burn off half the calories from that meal alone. I might have just a bagel and some yogurt like Yoplait Light or I might have cream of wheat with whole grain toast.
I eat breakfast no later than 10:30, and I try to eat lunch atleast 3 hours later.
Lunch is generally something like a lunch meat sandwich such as chicken or turkey on whole grain bread, baked lays chips, maybe some yogurt or Lean Pockets or a frozen meal from weight watchers, smart choices, etc. I usually have a low calorie, low fat dessert snack like Special K muffin or something for lunch. I like soup too.
Dinner is a frozen dinner usually, like a Healthy Balance sweet n sour chicken with broccoli and peach crisp, or a sandwich and chips.
Dinner is fairly light. Lunch is my biggest meal.
I drink Crystal light, lots of water, grapefruit juice and only diet sodas. I stay away from junk food, all fast food unless it's a salad or the parfait from mcdonalds. I try to walk/jog 3 times a week and we have a total body gym that I work my upper body and legs on almost daily for 15-25 minute sessions.
I never ate breakfast before and now that I have started eating I can tell my metabolism is faster because I can eat and then an hour later I feel like I'm starving

I'm debating on getting slimfast shakes to replace my lunch. I really want to lose 20 lbs by the time my wedding rolls around. Is there anything else I can do to drop the pounds and tone up quickly?

Good for you for trying to get healthy.
    My suggestions would be:
    - Skim milk
    - No butter, no bagels, no cream cheese, no McDonals, no Lean pockets, no soda (even diet).
    - Eat fresh fruits and vegetables. Lots of salads with very little, low-calorie dressing, lean meats and fish.
    - Try to prepare more of your meal from fresh foods from the store rather than frozen and packaged meals.
    - More exercise: 25 minutes minimum, 4 days a week + walking/jogging 3x week

I just read an article about diet soda actually inhibiting weight loss! I hadn't been aware of that before, and it certainly makes me rethink my intake.
    C'mon girls - let's have some FUN!

Yeah! I didn't realize that the sugar substitute trips your body up by making it believe that you are imbibing sugar and triggers insulin to be released. That insulin has nowhere to go and it actually contributes to weight gain.

I found the best way to keeping weight under control is just to listen to your body. Eat when it's hungry, just grazing on stuff throughout the day. Nuts, fruit, a light sandwich, non-creamy soups, etc. I don't eat 3 dedicated meals a day. Also, I cut down the portions or don't really eat dinner. I'm winding down then and the calories just sit there.

Drinking grapefruit juice with a meal will NOT burn half the calories of whatever you eat with it. In fact its best to stick to fruit as it is and avoid juice as juice is actually quite high in calories.

Shredded wheat, while good for you, is not one of the lowest calorie cereals out there, and the portion size is small for the amount of calories.

Cream cheese and butter are not a good idea, there are lots of substitutes you might want to try that are very low in calorie and can soften your bread. I think having a peice of fruit with your cereal rather than bread or bagel will be a lower calorie and more effective option.

You definitely want your weight loss pills to speed up metabolism since this process is passive, requiring more effort.
Weight Loss Pills? Really? Do you sell them? I'm glad this thread is quite old as advice like that won't help anybody especially someone with a fairly short weight loss window.

Hope this will serve as a good general guide towards weight loss and better overall health.
Yep, putting garbage in your system, that has zero scientific evidence that it works or does anything other than put you at risk, sounds good to me.

Clearly the underground folk know of this billionaire overnight drug, I mean their links on the websites that sell it are flashy and colored...that means legit right???? lol

Pssh science, who needs reliable information when the links are flashy and say "no prescription needed'.
There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.
