    Hi All

I am new to this site, and hope i am welcome.

This morning i woke up, the forth day of my "eating right" diet (started on Monday) and i have lost my frist KG, and well i thought i would just share this with you. It has lifted my spirits and am feeling very, well, hopefull lol!

Previously I never used a scale as i insisted on seeing the results. And yes there were times i had felt results. But those diets came and gone. Now im eating right and am very dedicated, and just seeing 1KG melt off in about three days is a great reward. Now i know why everyone has a scale! haha

No doubts about the scale and VERY happy. Thanks for letting me share

    Hopefull

hey hopefull! Congratulations! I am new to this site as well, and have also decided that its time to make a real life change, and its so encouraging to be connected to others who are going through the same thing. I live in Casablanca, Morocco and the majority of women here are not overweight, which makes things such as shopping for clothes a perpetual anxiety attack! Today I tried to work out to a tae bo dvd I found, and barely made it past the warmup! But, i figure, every day a little bit more and ill eventually be able to make it through the entire DVD Tell yourself that is one kilo you will never have to see again, with many more to follow! I would love to be able to keep in touch to encourage one another.

    Have a great day.

Welcome and congratulations! Stick with it, it's your health.
I've gained a bit of weight over the holidays and the other day at the gym I picked up a 5lb weight and realized, while it's not to heavy to pick up, that I'm actually walking around with it on my body all day/everyday. What motivation to get rid of it!
