I too have been on a very sensible diet and workout plan this past month and some change. Im not having as much problem with food as i did in the beginning and of course exercise is an everyday hurtle, but I have never been so happy and appreciative of life and all the wonderful things it has to offer. The only thing is i think about 4 months from now and it makes the future seem far and impossible. I am 21 I started out at 237 end of Dec and now at 221 as of yesterday. Im not really sure if im dieting exactly the way im supposed to i eat at least three decent size meals a day and workout at least 5 to 6 times a week. I guess i just need reassurance from you ladies. I just feels so far away and impossible and then on top of that what if im doing this all wrong?!?

    Welcome to WH.
It certainly sounds like you are on the right track. Have you cut out fried foods, refined flour products, sugary sweets, soda (including diet)? Eating lots of fresh veggies and fruits, lean meats, whole grains?

You didn't get where you are overnight and it will take time to get to a healthier you. You can do it. We have several ladies here who have. Just stick to it. Focus on health rather than weight and you'll keep seeing results.

You also have to watch your portions and try to be consistent with your eating hours. I prefer 5-6 feedings with small servings and sufficient water + working out 3x/week.

Are you into green shakes? There is a thread about that somewhere here. I am going to try them once my loving husband brings me the blender.

You are definitely on the right track. You're eating well but if you're finding your food bland, experiment with spices. Try currys and spice rubs, stuff like that, that doesn't add calories.
