Hi hope all is well. I have a question, we have this old elliptical in our living room and its been sitting there collecting dust so I added to my workout routine and when i get on it rocks and cracks but does that effect the effectivness of the cardio workout? In the gym i cant exercise on the elliptical for more than 15 mins without my thighs and feet being on fire, on this machine i do 20 mins with a breeze it creeks so loud i dont even want to use it. Is it because I have been working out this whole time and now my body is used to exercising or is this machine not worth my time. The counter still works though and it said i burned 300 cals but it def didnt feel like i did any work.

I think you are just getting used to working out and finding it easier.

Granted gyms always have the latest and greatest, but as long as your machine isn't losing nuts and bolts, I'd say you are fine. Make sure everything is greased and tightened and go to town.

I've had the same treadmill for 6 or so years and it's fine. I keep the tracks lubed, etc., but it's all good. It doesn't get much use any more because I prefer my TreadClimber, but I'll get on it from time to time.

You are very welcome! That's what we're all here for. We've got a pretty good support network going on here.
