When I am under a ton of stress I binge eat. I do this about every othr month. I need to get this under control. I am good shape and am a good weight but this is just bothersome and unhealthy. I have done this forever. Any ideas???

If you're otherwise healthy and do this pretty rarely, I don't think it's too much of a problem. We all need to pig out once in a while!

But try making a huge pot of tea next time, and/or get several packs of gum... That might help to satisfy that urge to be doing SOMEthing with your mouth!

Ok I do it more than I want to......I end up gaining and losing the same 7 pounds. After eating like that I feel terrible and have no motivation.. I use food as a crutch and I am tired of it... Please let me know what type of tea to get?? I am beaten down. I have a problem. Just because I am not overweight or out of shape doesn't mean there is no issue.. I need help.

It's best to find another way to handle your stress. Next time you're feeling overwhelmed, head out for a jog and burn off that frustration and see if that helps.

If you really want to over come it then try will power and replacing food with activity. If that doesn't work then try counseling.

I think the PMS makes its worse too. But I agree I need to be aggressive and replace.

Hello, I am Garima. I have an unproportionate body. People say I hardly have any lower portion compared to my upper half of the body.
I am terribly heavy from by chest and shoulders portion. And during weight loss regimes, it is the toughest part to lase fats from. I struggle again and again, but fail to get any good results.
I want to lose the fat on my breasts and shoulders,..can you please help me with that?
I tried pulling weights up,..but my mother is persistent not to do that and keeps a close watch on me.

Other than that,..I have a balanced diet. and drink lots of water.

    Hi Garima,
From dropping a significant amount of weight once before I can say that those problem areas (even though they may be the bigger area on your body) may not be the first place you lose the weight. I too carry a lot of weight in my breasts and stomach. But, inevitably if your eating clean and exercising, the weight will eventually come off where you want it to as well. Its all about being persistent and sticking to your goal. I know its hard, so you have to REALLY want it. One of my favourite ways to work out my upper body is through dance. I throw on some music at home and dance in from of a mirror until I'm sweaty and exhaustic. I find it fun and you'd be amazed at how much this can work your upper body and abs. Good luck!
