I have been struggling all my life with my weight....I have been going up and down the scale more times than I can count... I have been on every imaginable weight loss program...Lean Cuisine, Body Wise, Montignac, Weight Watchers, and also been to a dietician...

My core problems is that I live a busy life, which does not always allow me to plan ahead or eat healthy and the other is the wayning of motivation...I have been trying to lose weight over and over again and I am at the point where I give up because it never stays off...and maybe cause I love food too much...I am Greek after all..

I have also joined gyms, dance classes, and done Wii Fit which is now collecting dust...but I get bored with monotony...I like variety

Does anyone have any new ideas I can try or give me some advice?

For now, I was thinking of joining a gym that offer dance classes and as far as the food goes...maybe nutrisystem; just because it is conveniently packaged and sent to my home, already proportioned and measured...

I would suggest doing a little research and learning how to cook your own healthy meals. They are better for you and less expensive. Spend a couple of hours on a Sunday afternoon preparing the majority of your food for the week.

As for exercise, if you get bored easily, try taking up a sport that is active. That way you're hobby is active and you don't have to go to a gym and take a class or run on a treadmill.
Hard work beats talent, when talent doesn't work hard.

    weight problems:
It’s because the secret to attaining a slimmer, thinner you – that stays that way, must first happen in your mind. Sure, you hope and wish for it to happen. You probably long longingly at various celebrities and people you know and wish your figure looked more like theirs. It’s only natural. But it goes deeper than that.

Most people who struggle with weight have deep-seated beliefs about themselves, about coping with life and about food that are holding them back from attaining long-lasting change. What’s more, many people have developed bad habits and compulsions that virtually guarantee they will return to a heavier weight despite how much exercise and dieting they’re engaged in.

Sport is a good activity to lose weight. If you don't like doing the same thing over and over again sport is definitely the activity for you. You can do swimming for a week then badminton the following week. It depends on what sports you are into.

Weight loss is equal to burning your calories and fats. So go for all those activities which helps you in that. You may start with cycling as this is the best exercise which burn calories with maximum rate. Next comes swimming.
I think both are healthy and fresh exercises for you to adapt and get rid of weight.

The easiest and safest way to lose weight is to count calories and exercise. I get bored with plain old working out too so my roommate and I play racquetball twice a week. One hour of racquetball alone burns over 600 calories for me and it is FUN!

I am young and I haven't developed an interest in cooking yet. I buy Amy's frozen meals at the store and they are low calorie (they even have low sodium ones now) and they taste great. I eat probably 3-4 frozen meals per week. Other than that, I create a lot of low cal sandwiches. Subway is your friend!
