Please no spam... and only real reviews... I have been dieting and exercising and losing weight the right way. I have suffered from constipation my entire life and have always wanted to try a colon cleanser but I don't know which ones are safe and which ones work.

Which ones have you tried and what were your results?

I do not use lab prepared stuff as of now, but I have tried some aloe vera extract. It worked for me, but I have to warn you - it tastes awful, well, at least the one I tried.

Now, whenever I feel like becoming "clogged", I drink sufficient amount of water, eat fibrous food (organic). Pineapple is one of my favorite natural regimen. I also eat bittermelon and a lot of grapefuit.

I feel way better than before. My skin is radiant and soft, and my "drainage/sewage" system is in excellent operation.

If I'm having trouble what I do is eat a banana (super healthy anyway), and jump around to upbeat music in my apartment for a few minutes. Does the trick, every time. If you're constipated, it's usually a result from bad diet or insufficient exercise, anyway!

Have you tried giving yourself an enema?

5-10 prunes a day for me. Works great. Sometimes I'll get on a Metamucil kick and have a couple of teaspoons a day, that works well too.

I've also had the hydrotherapy but wasn't impressed. If you just have constipation, it's diet thing. It's really hard to get 25-30 grams of fiber a day, especially if you're dieting. Try the prunes for a couple of weeks.

Yeah, ditto on all the above. I use ground psyllium husk to foods or as a drink. Get the stuff from health food store or buy by brand name. Metamucil, as mentioned by sourpuss, is one of em, but is all same thing. For me, unflavored, course ground psylium from health food place works best. Is simple source of both soluable and insoluable fiber. Go slow at first w/ dosage, find what works 4 you.
Oh, good luck w/ weight loss. Believe me, u r not the only one who struggles w/ that daily!

Also, try black bean soup. Safeway has little instant things and they have about 15g per serving.

I was having constipation for a long time. I was just searching like you until I read an online review about Bowtrol. I gave it a try and it really helped me beat constipation. You may want to have a look if you want.

Me too on the water... If I miss a day of being regular, I make sure to watch the water intake the next day since I didn't get enough. I'm good in usually 24 hours... I also am a big fan of Apples to get in my fiber and edamame and green veggies
