Hi, My name is Stefanie and I'm 25 years old.
I just had my second child 4 months ago.

I gained 60 lbs with my first pregnancy and lost almost all of it. Then I gained 50 with my second pregnancy.
I had already put on some weight after getting married due to being put on steroids to treat my asthma.

I reached a high of 216 at the end of my second pregnancy.
I am currently down to 174. I actually made it to 169 and then put back on a few pounds recently.
I've got to lose this weight. I feel absolutely horrible and hate the way I look.
It's just not healthy for me.

My goal is to get back down to 135.
It's going to take a lot of work but I feel that I can do this.

I'm not really sure how many calories to limit myself to.
I just downloaded a calorie diary app on my blackberry though so I'm hoping that will help if I can just find the magic number of calories.

I just want to feel attractive again. My husband loves me the way I am but I would like to be able to love myself.

    Hi Stephanie,

I'd suggest you try and get some exercise. This will not just help you lose fat and everything, but you'll find that it'll make you feel much better about yourself. For many people, their self-image improves just by knowing they're doing exercise (plus the release of endorphins contributes too).

And besides, it'll only boost your fat loss results...

As for calories, I'd suggest you just focus on whole, unprocessed foods first for everything you eat, while also taking up that exercise regimen.

That's a good place to start, and then based on your results, you can tweak and optimize with different calorie schemes as you go.

    Just my two cents...

Don't feel bad about yourself! You gave birth to a couple of probably beautiful childs and your husband loves you.

Now just get your act together and lose that fat. It's not like you actually ARE that fat. You're still the same person. It's just that you're temporarily carrying more bodyfat around that you'd like to... So now you can take control and get rid of it.

    Good luck!!

Loving yourself for who you are NOW is the first step...

The rest will follow, your in the right direction you know what YOU want, not for anyone other than you.. Stay positive and focus and YOU will DO it...

    Hey

I'm in the same boat, feeling unattractive even though my boyfriend loves me for who i am

I've been trying hard myself but the weight just didnt seem to budge. Have you tried looking up your body shape? They do fitness regimes and diets dedicated to your own specified body shape

    Hope this helps x

I feel very similar Stefanie. I've been struggling with my weight for the past two years. Seems like an endless cycle of up and down for me. I started out at 250 lbs and I've been as low as 155 lbs. But I currently weight 179 lbs....
