You'd better start with a good nutrition plan and exercise regimen. It only makes sense to add supplements with that as a foundation.
The effect of CLA and green tea on fat loss... if any... will probably be minimal though, particularly in comparison to good nutrition and exercise.
Both of these substances are not unhealthy though. So in that sense you don't have anything to lose... except of course lots of money.
But that's just my opinion...
