I just read that you are "5'9 and weigh 196". So, I think I'm safe in saying keeping in mind I'm in the same boat (I'm 5'8 and weigh 195) that right now it's not like you're super skinny and have a little bit of a bulge to get rid of. Coming from someone who has been 140 pounds before, I can tell you that as you lose weight, you'll lose stomach weight too. And your body will lose weight in it's own order, not necessarily where you want it to first. A lot of these weightloss techniques that presume to target areas of the body do not make sense. Why should you lose fat in one area of the body and not the others? My suggestion to you is to just find a healthy natural method for losing weight (one that you can keep up with) and I promise you, your belly will go with any other fat you're carrying around.
