Congradulations! Keep up the good work..you can do it!![]()
Hi Ladies!
It has been awhile... not sure if anyone remembers me. Anyhow, I set a goal back in Jan 2010, to lose 5 pounds a month (Weight starting at 210). I really want to be a size 8 (US sizing) in time to stand up for my friend's wedding. Well, of course life happens... I got bronchitis/sinusitis and then had to get through finals at school... So needless to say I was stuck around the 10 pound loss for much longer than I would have liked. It's May, so by the end of this month I should have lost 25 pounds... def not there yet. But, this week since I've been back on the train, I've already lost an additional five pounds (totalling my weight lost to 15 pounds). And I wouldn't have written about these last 5 if they weren't such a big deal to me. I can officially say now that according to the bmi, I am no longer obese!!! Today is a great day for me! Some might ask how I'm doing it... and it's a little different than what I stated before...so here is my current regime.
Morning: Wake up. Have a protien bar, banana and a glass of milk. Go to work.
Afternoon: Have a chicken wrap or sandwhich (mustard & hot sauce are my sauces of preference) sometimes with a little bit of cheese in it.
Midday: A little more than a handful of raw vegetables to munch on.
Dinner: Home from work, round 6:30-7. I make I have a very small and light dinner. For example last night I had a 2 egg spinach and cheese omelet.
ESSENTIALLY WHAT I'M DOING IS REVERSING MY MEALS... SO THAT MY BREAKFAST & LUNCH TIME FEEDINGS BECOME MY BIGGER MEALS OF THE DAY.
After dinner, usually around 9pm, I've also started at the gym About 3-4 times a week, for one hour, burning anywhere from 700-800 calories on the eliptical.
So here's to seeing some successStay motivated ladies!
