My mom was on it so i figured 'what the heck' hah... its basically just a protein type shake (soy, milk and honey) that you drink 3x a day (plus a v8), then it goes to 2x a day plus one small meal until you reach your goal, then down to 1x a day and two meals for about 6 weeks to get your body back in tune with eating. with the natural ingredients you dont get jittery like other things ive tried, but it tastes like pancake batter unless you spice it up a bit hah (i put cinnamon, vanilla extract, and 1/4 of a banana and blend it... not supposed to have fruit til the 3rd day, but I just do the 1/4 banana in the morning as a 'treat' hah) i've actually lost 3.5 pounds in 2 days (however, i DID just get off my period hah)... I'm just curious if anyone else has tried this and what luck they've had?? thank you for taking the time to read and respond!

This forum no longer supports the use of any weight loss pills, shakes, etc.
Our stance is that the ONLY way to lose weight is to have your calorie intake be lower than your calorie use. If you would like help with that, we would be happy to give you advice and support.

It's not really a 180 - we the mods never supported the use of supplements, but we got overpowered by a sea of hopefuls and spam. It's hard to decide on these kinds of threads which responses are legitimate and which are just people hired by the companies to post good reviews. It seemed all the actual posters who kept coming back would say one of a few things:
    1. They'd have horrible side effects and ask, should I still take this? Obviously, NO!
    2. They exercised their bottoms off and dieted, lost X number of pounds, it must be the supplement, right? NO! You've worked your tail off, take the credit for your hard work.
    3. They'd be completely disappointed, decide that there's no way for them to lose weight, they've tried everything ... and we're not about disappointing people here, we want to HELP them.
Nixing all discussion, beginning with the first post in a thread, about certain products is really the only way to go to curb spam, be honest, and be supportive of the posters.

I definitely understand that haha. I guess I was just looking for anyone in my same boat! I work at a restaurant and Its always a challenge not to pick at things. I really was just looking for something to 'jumpstart' me. I've also quit drinking which i think will have a huge impact on my weight. Anywho - i'll quit posting. sorry again!

Quitting drinking is the only 'jump start' you'll need. Alcohol has a massive amount of calories and sugar and if you cut that out and exercise, you're bound to lose weight.
