Exclamation 180 Lbs! =(

My Mom Is 180lbs And Its Like She Exercises Everyday, Sweats So Much, And Spends Almost An Hour In A Sauna! But The Thing Is She's Been Doing The Same Routine For Like A Year Now And Mind U She Doesnt Eat Greasy Foods Neither Rice Or Bread... Is There Like A Diet Or Maybe Some Help.. Please!

HI!
This is just a thought, but tell your mom to have a complete blood work-up done, especially checking her hormone levels (including insulin and Thyroid). There are several conditions out there that can cause weightgain or prevent weightloss despite diet and exercise such as hypothyroidism and Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). It's worth looking into anyway. If you can catch them early, you can treat them and start feeling better and even losing weight.

Hi

I have been trying to lose wirght for the past eight years - turns out I have PCOS. That has been reason that weight loss has been difficult. Sad thing though, I have been gymming, eating correctly etc, and my weight has stayed the same. Now I have had another thyroid and insulin test done - waiting the results.

hey your mom might have a diesease that doesnt let her lose weight theres two of those type one is that and two is you cant STOP lossing weight!

I SO WISH I COULD LOSE ABOUT 30-40#. I AM ON A DEPRESSION PILL,THYROID,CHOLESTEROL, AND ON ERT PATCH. I AM 180 AND CANT SEEM TO LOSE MORE THAN 3#. I EVEN HAVE TRIED WEIGHT WATCHERS. I NEED HELP. AND I CRAVE SALT AND SUGAR.

Again, sweating has nothing to do with weight loss. Burning calories produces heat, and precipitation is needed to cool the body off.

Most likely your mom had little muscle when she started exercising, and is gaining muscle in this process. Recovery is a big factor in this, Exercising once a week will provide recovery time for your muscles to expand and gain, Exercising every day or every other day will provide weight loss.

I don't know how she feels about diet pill, but I'm on adipex and I'm having great results
