Smile We have also just started LA Weight Loss

My husband and myself have also joined LA Weight Loss. I am wondering how it is going with you? Today was our first day and our goal is 95 pounds for me 70 pounds for my husband. We chose the program because it teaches you how to eat and what amount, so when we go off of it we will know what is right and what is wrong instead of depending on a pill or a quick loss weight diet. I have horrible eating habits, I only eat one meal a day and that is supper, where my husband eats three meals a day, but also goes back for seconds during supper. We already had taken a lot of the fat out of our meals and were no longer frying foods and began eating off of smaller plates and using a salad fork to encourage slower eating habits. Although this may have stopped us from gaining more weight, it didn't help us lose any. My doctor says my body is storing fat because of my eating habits and that is why I'm not losing any. I will say so far I feel like I do nothing but eat, I am gagging because I never eat this much!!!! Yesterday I was discouraged because I was sick of eating, but today I'm in a better frame of mind and starting to relax a little about chewing on a carrot.

We were looking at a few pictures from a couple of years ago and can't believe the difference. We both quit smoking , which of course added weight gain and then I ended up with Breast Cancer and gained weight during the chemo and then laid up in bed a lot because of complications with the reconstruction surgeries, again which didn't help with the weight. I am feeling better now, but both of us are discouraged with our looks and our lack of ability to get motivated and active.

So here's to keeping our fingers crossed and our minds focused on a healther, active and slimmer future for all of us.

Please keep posting on how you are doing as I sure am interested and it will continue to encourage us.

Bstrong, congratulations on making such a positive change in your life and on facing the struggles of cancer. It sounds like you are a strong woman yourself. I would like to lose some weight be exercising and eating healthy, but it is much more difficult than it sounds. Let me know if you get positive results! Good luck!

Thumbs up Losing weight

So we officially started the LA Wegith Loss on May 4th. Two days drinking the LA juice and then on May 5th we started watching what we ate for food. So far it has been pretty good, took me a while to get used to eating all day and I still have some problems with it - but it's getting easier. We can eat basically anything, but have to watch the amount. We are not having any problems with allowed amount, we both feel full walking away from our meals. Over all we are finding it satifactory and easy to follow. I have lost seven pounds and my husband has lost six pounds. Hoping it keeps going this way! Will keep you posted.

Default Already lost 4 pounds

Started LA Weightloss on Sunday and got weighed today and have already gone down 4 pounds.

I didn't want to get stuck buying the bars and other treats so I said I was allergic to soy. Now I feel hungry between dinner and bed time.

At first when I was reading everybodies posts I was wondering how anybody felt full on this diet because it seems like I have so little to eat. But now I see that it's not eating the 2 LA Lites each day that makes a huge difference.

Do they really help? And if I don't eat them do I stand to lose more quicker?

I'm happy with my 4 pounds because now I have 54 pounds to go )

I would highly recommend getting the bars, I personally think they make a big difference (b/t being a good source of protein and helping you be full)

and congrats on the 4 pounds!
