I just wanted to share this with everyone. I have always had problems with my weight..I bounce up and down like a ball when it comes to my actual weight. Recently I decided to ward of sodas and juice and just drink water and lots of it. Wow! Talk about a difference I have already lost 7 pounds in a week and a half. My eating habits have changed also...I tend to mix up my portion control to what an NFL football player would eat so I overheard someone saying how they began to eat the tv dinners (I.E. Lean Cuisine, stoffers, smart one) to help with their portion control well in doing this I have lost 7 pounds w/o any extreme diet that is unattainable and the food is actually great! And when I eat regular food (the stuff I cook) it's in much smaller portions, you know for a woman who is only 5'8"! Also I exercise atleast 4 times a week---I include weight lifting. I was told if you weight lift 1st then do cardio for a 1/2 hour so, you burn just as much calories. All of this combined has helped me start my way down to a lower number on the scale...and like I said, it's all doable! I didn't have to take any pill! I'm excited to see what my final results will be! Hope this helps whoever! Be BLessed!

Something sounds fishy about losing 7 pounds in a week and a half! Fat deposits can not be burned that quickly! A person losing weight in a healthy fashion would not lose more than 1 or 2 pounds in a week. 7 is a bit out there! I wonder if your changed diet made you lose water weight?

Otherwise, congrats on starting to live a healthier lifestyle! Keep it up! My only suggestion as you progress in your journey would be to cut out the lean cuisines alltogether (they are SO high in sodium and have few nutritional benefits) and replace them with fresh foods (tons of veggies, fruit, lean proteins, and "good" carbs like bran, yams, etc...). I'm just starting to eat healthier myself. I exercise a lot, but my eating habits were pretty atrocious (fat foods, and gigantic portions), but I'm hoping to change that by changing my habits!

Best of luck to you too!

I somewhat agree KMonte about the water weight but it is feasible with water weight... I lost 6 lbs one time in a week when I started Weight Watchers... and I was simply watching what I ate... Sometimes even water weight is nice when you're starting out because it makes you feel like you're doing something
