If you gained weight because you aren't as active as you were before then you just need to cut back on calories, make healthy eating choices and exercise.
My sister bought me these diet pills. I have never heard of them before so I have decided to take a chance I mean whats the worse that can happen. I am 19 a college student and weight a whoping 270.. stand about 5' 9" I took my first pill at 7 am today. So far I have only eaten a corn dog and its 10:10 am i didnt feel like eatin i just ate it ... thats where my whole problem started I moved from my parents to Fresno and had nothing to do but eat. I used to live on a farm so I was active every single day for about 4 hours in the evenin during school and while I was out on vacation I would work about 7 hours a day ..just around the ranch..sorry got of topic..... so I will keep you all posted on my status and how its going... if any one wants to talk or keep in touch my personal email is (edit) please put some kind of greetin in the subject I dont want to accidentally erase your message.... thanks....

The worst that could happen is that it affects your health adversely and you end up in the hospital with heart problems. There is no magic pill. Most diet pills contain things like ephedrin that mess with your heart.
You didn't put weight on overnight and it won't come off overnight. Eat healthy and be active, that's the answer. Eat breakfast and healthy snacks and meals. Lose weight slowly and keep it off.
Yea, i should say i gain 90 lbs. in little less than 4 months... i know its a healthier choice to just eat healthier and exercise but i need motivation and encouragment. honestly i dont get that here so its usually just pushed aside.

Amy, even if you take diet pills, they are made to work *with* diet and exercise and in my opinion (having tried some of them) do very little to actually help you lose weight if you don't workout. You can find support on this website or by going to Weight Watchers or Jenny Craig or finding another site or a group somewhere. Sometimes the people closest to us don't realize how much we need their support. Have you tried talking to them? If you have and they still aren't supportive, you have to find someone else or find the strength within yourself. Join a gym, do workouts at home, talk walks outside. There is a lot you can do but you have to get up and get moving!
Good luck!!
PS... Corn dogs are not good for you. Get some fruits, veggies, etc. Eat lean meats like fish and poultry. Even small amounts of foods with high calories and fat will add up quicker.![]()

Check out Sparkpeople online. It's free and has great "teams", exercise and food trackers and great resources.
Sparkpeople is a great site.
90 pounds in 4 months is pretty extreme, that's over 5 pounds a week. Are you sure it's just bad diet and no activity? Maybe you should see a doctor.
What has your diet been like the last 4 months? Do you get any exercise at all?
Kygirl... yes I have tried talking to them but it seems to get me nowhere. Thank you!....I stopped taking the pills I got very sick and couldn't keep anything down so I am going to wait untill I can get a job and go to the gym and take them then.... Corndogs aren't good for me I know but they are so delicious!!! lol... see now that is my gut talking lol...Thank you very much Kygirl!

Shadow38 and sourpuss... Thank you I'll check it out as soon as I finish here. I did go to the doctor and he just informed me what I already knew, that I was overweight and needed to lose the weight. My diet for the last four months has been very bad and very unhealthy. I don't eat breakfast, no lunch either. I eat dinner around 9 pm. I have tried to get my mother-in-law to make dinner around 5 but she doesn't understand. I haven't exercised since July 2008. I know it's very sad for me especially. I try to manage my eating habits, lately I just eat less. I have been wanting to go walking but I dare not go out walking in the evenings by myself in Fresno. lol
