Ok, so we've all seen those tennis shoes with the rounded bottoms right. The "shape ups". I like many thought they looked really dumb and theirs no way these things would actually work. WRONG!!! I bought them a few weeks ago because I need new shows and they were on sale. Yesterday was the first time I wore them for an extended period of time. I walked around a bridal show for 4 hrs. All I felt yesterday was the fact that my feet were killing me in these things. Well woke up this morning to a crazy surprise. Not only do my legs and butt feel like I did about 500 squats, my abs are worse. Feels like I spent the night doing crunches. If you haven't worn them, you have no idea how much it makes you work your abs. Everyone says when you are working out to keep your abs tight to increase the burn. Well in these things, you either keep it tight or fall over....LOL!!

I figured that's how they worked. They must make you have to keep balance all day. Makes sense. I looked at them at the store and was curious. I don't know if I could bring myself to wear them though, they look so silly.

Interesting. I too have wondered if they work. I hate the commercials for those new Reebok ones though, those girls have PERFECT legs. lol. I'll agree though, they are quite goofy......but hey, if they're working, who cares.

Yeah i haven't brought myself to wear them around people that I actually know yet....lol!! they do look really silly and i think they make my feet look huge. Basically you can only stand on your toes. Thats the only comfortable way. Any other way you either put to much pressure in your arch or feel like you are going to fall back. Stand up and just lift your heels off the floor and walk around like that. Thats exactly what these things do

I have the skechers brand and when i put them on, I always put on long jeans so people won't see what I wearing. And you're right, they do work but the only difference for me is that, mine are really comfortable. I also have the bmt's and it is not as comfortable as skechers.
