    So, this morning I hoped on the scales. I have to say, I'm so proud of myself. There isn't another word for it, just simply proud.

    -40 pounds.

    I've got a bit more to go (15 pounds!!), but being able to look in the mirror and see the difference. To simply feel the difference.

    I haven't been happier. Go me!

    What about you? Anything you're proud of that you want to share?

    Mmm, doing a mix of aerobics/weight lifting along with a decent diet. I've cut out all of my drinks (I miss you coke and coffee!!) Cut out most of my carbs, and just really push myself. I really never had too much of an attention span to run on a tredmil like a hamster, but after getting an ipod and some great music, the time really flies by. I think self-discipline and a little hard work goes a long way.

    Plus, reaching out for help when you don't know enough. For example, I shared my diet with sourpuss and I've already learned about little things I could do to do even better. There are so many people out there willing to help, and if you just ask the right questions, you'd be surprised how much you can learn and incorporate.

    Yes mam, you've got it figured out. Just keep pushing and keep learning. The internet is your best friend when it comes to nutrition facts. I hope your thread is an inspiration to many that were in your same position!
