Let's skip the same old diets. I think it would be fun to start a discussion on some of the newest diets and what they offer. I personally need to lose over 25 pounds (I am not going to tell you my weight!!)
but I am over 40 and I can't exercise due to an injury. It's my thread so I am going to list the three diets that I found and what I think:1. The Total wellbeing diet. From Australia, another protein diet, but this one combines that with the Glycemic Index. No restricted foods, high protein, low fat. Sounds ok. No Website found. 2. The flavor point diet. Everyday you focus on one flavor theme and eat recipes only in that flavor. Too weird for me. No Website found. 3. The Diet Smart Plan. My personal favorite in my early research. Interesting concept of a simple calorie strategy with tips and strategies to stay under a daily calorie count. The plan also has a membership service for support (I guess like WW.) www.thedietsmartplan.com I would like to see more diets that others come across |

I have heard that many people achieve weight loss success from Weight Watcher's!! I'm not quite sure how much it costs, but they weigh you and offer support groups, etc. The diet is really similar, because you count your calories. I have seen the guide book, which already has calculated the points from hundreds of fast-food places.

wow someone here knows about this secret plan.
I love it, is so much easier than WW and no group meeting and all the support. I love it. I have a coach too. Plus it cost way less than WW. WW is good but not new or cheap. This is affordable for anyone and I mean anyone. It is counting calories, not points but I dont eat low cal, actually I eat allot, plus I get free foods. which is great. Check it out. |

Here's one I'm sure most people haven't heard of (though it's been around for 20 years): The Sadkhin Complex -. This program offers rapid weightloss without meal plans, calorie counting, diet pills or surgery. It's kind of like accupressure. They tape these little silver balls behind your ears (they look like ball bearings but they're called tsubo balls) and if you rub them every few hours, they control or eliminate the feeling of hunger, and they're supposed to stimulate your hormones to work harder in breaking down excess weight. I heard you can lose a lot of weight very quickly. I met someone who did it and she looks amazing. She said it's affordable but I don't know the price. It's awfully tempting! They're based in New York but they have offices all over and I saw on the website that they are going to open more nationwide.
