What do you do with the kids? Is there an opportunity to run around and play a few times a day with them? How is it that you work 6am-9pm 7 days a week, just curious.
Can you give us an outline of your current diet and what you do on a daily basis? It's hard to give suggestions without knowing anything.
195 is really heavy for 5'4", you're putting yourself in a position to have some pretty serious health problems in life. It's great that you want to lose weight for your wedding, but I think you need a different approach that's more focused on getting healthy, regardless of the wedding or how you look.
You're young, so it's possible and the good news is that if you start today, the journey will be a lot easier than if you wait.

I do the same job as you. How old are your kids? I don't care for very many(4 total) and they all sleep from 1-3, so that's when I workout in my basement. I have a doorway pull-up bar($20), a set of hand weights($15 for a few various sizes), and a multi-pack of stretchy bands in light/me/heavy from Walmart($9).
I just started P90X last week(before, I just did various free style activities) and find the workouts take about an hour and are varied enough to keep my interest. Even if I don't continue on with the program(but I plan to), you could easily just gravitiate towards just using the Yoga dvd or Cardio dvd in the future and be just fine maintaining. So like, it isn't 1 and done, but useful long term.
I'd look on my local CL for used ones, half the price but same workout!
And I know there's a knockoff one that runs $19.99 new they advertise on TV alot called "the 90 day" something.
    Foods:
cut down carbs & processed foods. Try to eat as natural as possible. Don't add sugar or gravy or dips or dressings. Smaller portions throughout the day, not big huge meals. Protein, protein, protein!
There's a dude online called "Henry the Health Hound" that has a FREE downloadable e-book that lists menus & suggested foods that produce great results.
Think health, not short term "get into my dress". Small steps(we all loose weight the same, starting with a -1!), so small goals that are a challenge but make-able.
And don't get discouraged!! It took time to put the weight on. It takes time to have REAL weight loss.
    You can do it!!!
    Good Luck!

hi chrystal! do not starve yourself, you work long hours and you'll need all the energy you can get. avoid foods that are oily, fatty and salty. avoid eating sweets. drink lots of water. when you've got some time, do a 30 minute walk so you won't be too tired as you're working long hours. plan your meals so you don't binge. buy more fruits and vegetables. you'll find more detailed guidelines on other posts here. good luck to your weight loss endeavors! and best wishes!

I agree, definitely don't starve yourself. If you're eating "healthy" but you still feel hungry, you are not giving your body enough nutrition even though you think you're eating healthy. I see it all the time, people eating only fruit and yogurt, exercising an hour a day, and not losing weight - then eventually they binge because there are no results and their bodies are HUNGRY for some real nutrition. I've helped a lot of teachers with a program that makes it easy to get complete nutrition in a small number of calories, and believe it or not eat 6 times a day, given a super-busy lifestyle such as yours. if you want info you can email me (i think? i'm not sure how that works, i'm new here). The real key to weight loss is balancing your blood sugar and insulin response (insulin is produced after a rise in blood sugar, and insulin stores fat). Eating breakfast, drinking at least 64oz water a day, cutting down on carbohydrates (not cutting them out - 80grams is OK), and eating throughout the day are all key elements to reducing the insulin response.

Exercise is healthy and necessary for weight maintenance, but not at the beginning for weight loss. what you eat is WAY more important than how much you exercise. However, you can try to incorporate muscle-strengthening exercises into everyday activities (even walking up stairs with tight thighs and abs burns more calories by activating your muscles - be conscious of your movements, basically), but don't think you immediately have to start an exercise program. at your height and weight, i would actually recommend losing about 30lbs before even starting to do anything more than walking, because you might injure yourself (it happens all the time, and then people can't move at all). You are not sitting at a desk all day, so your level of activity combined with the right nutrition program should allow you to lose significant weight in the time before your wedding.

Better yet, you will learn healthy habits that will help you keep the weight off for life. That would be the best result!
