    Hi Everyone,

I just spend a half hour typing a thread and then lost it Bugger...LOL

My Name is Nikki, I am 24 years of age and happily married to my High School Sweetheart.

    I am 158cm Tall and Weigh 95kg :O(

    I need help!!!

My Goal is to be 70kg by my Birthday in August (29weeks approx) So that works out at a little under a kilo per week which is definetly managable. I would of course prefer this to be achieved earlier but i am being realistic.

I have a pretty good Excersize routine organised (this has not been going so well in recent months mind you)
on Mondays i attend an Aqua Aerobic class, TUES, WED, THURS I go to the gym first thing in the morning anf Fridays I spend a good few hours cleaning.
So as long as i get motivated I think i have my excersize plan all sorted.

    Diet is my major problem.
I have issues with veges!!! the veges I enjoy are, Corn, Carrotts (raw), Tomato (cooked only) Green Beans, Broccolli + Couliflower (only when disquised) spinach (raw) lettce, Cucumber, capsicum (only in small doses) I love most fruits.

My diet is not planned at all. I wake up and look around for the easiest thing to make, wether it be left overs, sandwiches, or if i feel like being good cereal or eggs.

Lunch once again consists of the easiest things that i can get my hands on. I work from home so having the kitchen close by is both a blessing and a bad thing especially if we are stocked up on bad foods. but it usally consists of sandwiches, Pasta packets or left overs.

Dinners once again either Pastas, Currys, Sometimes Ceasar Salads, Mexican foods or take out.

I need a stuctured weekly eating plan that i can follow and have something different everyday.

I have issues with cravings, I crave sweets, Soft Drinks and Carbs.

I dont want to live this way anymore, I dont want to be bigger than all my friends and family. I keep blaming my weight on genes and the fact that I dont like so many foods but i know that i am the only one to blame, I am in charge of the cooking and the foods we eat. I am my own worst enemy, teamed up with my lack of will power is a nasty combination.

I need to do this for me, Not so much to look good for my husband (who himself if 135kg) I want to stop feeling so tired all the time. I want to be able to go shopping and have choices and choices on what will look good on me. I want to wear skirts and knee high boots (my calves are my major problem area)

I just want to be the person i feel like I am on the Inside. I want to be a person who takes pride in her appearence, Who will enjoy going out and socialising, Who enjoys shopping and would like to be the centre of attention once and a while.

Please send me any advise you have on Diet, Excersize, heallthy, Natural weightloss supplements. If there is anyone out there who i can work with to put an eating plan together i would be forever greatfull. I need a program that i can stick to in the long term.

I look forward to hearing from those of you who wish to help.

    Thank You

    Nikki

Nikki, sometimes, like today, the forum is slow. It picks up in the week. Someone will reply to your thread, just keep checking back

I've lost 10lbs just buy cutting all my portions in half. I'm trying to get some more fruit and veggies in my diet and it seems to be working well. I also take a multi-vitamin called Life's Fortune that's made from all natural food sources instead of chemically compounded and separated elements from unclean sources. It really helps with your energy level without caffeine or giving you a buzz. It's made me feel better than I have in years. I highly recommend that and getting a water purifier for your tap water if it's full of minerally bleachy taste. I got a Zero Water from Bed Bath & Beyond and I like it better than the other filters I've bought. You need to be drinking 8 8oz glasses of water a day minimum to help flush junk out of your system.

That's all I got for weight loss. I'm the ultimate lazy"bass" when it comes to weight loss. hahaha XD

Hi Thank you for your reply,

I Hit the 1ookg mark (about 220 pounds) and I am beyond discusted in myself!!!

i have taken a multivitamin this morning and a cronium tablet to help with cravings

i am so confused on what i should be eating, i ahve gotten myself into such bad habits, my sister in law is into health nd nutrition so i have asked her to put an eating plan together for me. I really hope that i will be able to follow it.

My goal still to get to 70kg so now i have an extra 5kg to lose. 29 weeks 30kg, i intend to do it, the fact that i was in hesterics last night indicates to me that i am finally ready to do this, but i can not do it without the support of others out there.

    Thank You

I've lost 23lbs in the past 8 months by drinking GABA Tea. I heard about this method from a frind of mine and it works really well for me. In addition to losing the weight, I've also found I have more energy and the tea itself tastes great. *No outbound links*

I had weight issues 10 years back and my motivation to lose the excess weight was just the same as yours.... I wanted to wear the clothes that I liked . My final push came from trying on a jeans in a showroom that I reallly liked but it was not available in my size and the store guy said in good humor that I could have bought it if I was a size smaller :-O... That was when I changed my entire diet , removed all the fats from my diet and I had only veggies and pulses ...No ice creams, chocolates and fried things for 4-5 months... and when I say none, it was like NONE. After about 5 months, I treated myself to bites of chocolates or fried stuff. I made it a point to eat when I was really hungry...when stomach grumbled. Previously I used to eat whenever I felt like or whenever the clock struck the meal hours... Anyway, when you eat zero fats and only healthy stuff, you feel hungry quite faster.
No carbs too...maybe a little but not plenty. Fruits , Yes. eat enough fruits and 1 spoon of sugar a day is enough. have milk.
Eat all your meals but no fats...eat only when u r hungry. Exercise in whatever way you like.
I have never re-gained my weight so its not true that everyone will gain back whatever weight they lose. I eat fats now and I have my ice creams and chocolate bars. Its just a one time plunge... once that you stick to your plan for long enough to lose all your excess weight, you will know how to indulge without gaining the weight back. Good luck!

    Hi Nikki,

I think that you don't have problem with your exercise. You have do it right, not too excess. And about your weight loss goals, I'm sure you can achieve it!

I see that your probem is about dieting. Many people do not realize just how many unhealthy foods they put in their bodies on a daily basis. Some of these can slow or stop weight loss. Take soda for example. You may not think that a beverage could harm your weight loss progress, but it can. There are also many fruit and 'nutrition' beverages that claim to be healthy but are full of sugar. Losing weight healthy means knowing what should be included in your daily diet.

This may sound like common sense, but many fresh fruits and vegetables can do wonders for a diet. Pay close attention to how you prepare your meals as well. A healthy food can become harmful to a diet when you add a lot of other ingredients to the dish.

Your body needs protein, so do not completely cut meat and fish from the menu. However, make sure you choose lean cuts and avoid eating the fatty portions. Skinless poultry is the better choice as well. To effectively do this you have to include some protein in each meal. This is the key to keeping yourself fuller for a longer time. These small healthy meals can also include some food items such as almonds, strawberries and berries.

Losing weight healthy does not have to mean eating meals that taste bland, as long as you are willing to be selective when grocery shopping and try better recipes. Just stay motivated!!!
