    Hi everyone
I was hoping that some of you could give me some tips and advice regarding weightloss. A few years back I weighed 90kgs. Doing shakes and healthy eating I managed to lose 15kgs and I kept it off for a good couple of years. My father died in 2008 and I went on an unhealthy spiral. I stopped monitoring what I ate and I rarely if ever exercised.

In the last year I managed to get down to 74kgs but I found it hard to maintain losing weight. I wasnt exercising, just following a low calorie diet, but I had to cut myself off from my friends to keep this up. I find it hard to stick to any diet when Im with my friends because Im easily influenced by their unhealthy food choices.

I now currently weigh 83kgs. I am 169cm tall and I am 22 years old. I feel very uncomfortable in my skin and I really want to lose weight. I want to weigh 65kgs. I need as much advice and help as I can get. I love food and I love carbohydrates and that seems to be the worse thing for my body. I always feel guilty when I eat them. I dont want to go back on shakes because they dont satisfy me and I struggled through them the other times I have used them. Ive tried weightloss pills like reductil and found that I lost 5 kilos but then they stopped working. I really want to get healthy and start living my life. I want to have more energy and stamina. Please help! I need a way of eating I can stick to long term and I just dont know where to start!

Hey, I know exactly where you coming from....

Two year's ago, it took me a visit to the doctor to fully understand the incredible dangers of being over weight and not doing anything about it. Many of us go for months
and even years telling ourselves that we will eventually get to it - putting it on the back burner.

The doctor basically told me that if i didn't start taking action regarding my weight, I could die.

I knew I had to get started so I bought a couple of weight loss programs and they were very disappointing. They just didn't get me excited about losing weight. I was basically ready to give up when a friend of mine emailed me an ebook that she had downloaded. I was understandably skeptical but after the first few pages I knew I had found something of value, this book was different to all the other weight loss techniques I had tried. I read the book from cover to cover and it literally felt like I had made a new friend that understood my challenges regarding losing weight and staying motivated. This book changed my beliefs regarding what it really takes to lose weight - a powerful, motivated mind. The book focused on psychological techniques which made me realize that the best diet programs in the world are useless if you are not motivated to use them. This book cured my lack of motivation which was the barrier to losing weight.

I wish I could give you the name of the book (we can't advertise on this site) cos it truly changed my life..

What are some of the main challenges you have?
