Cool Does African Mango Extract really work?

I have seen a few ads about the African Mango extract and several posts on numerous web sites talking about the African Mango Extract and I was wondering if anyone on here has heard of it and/or tried it out to see if it actually does work. I need to shed 40 pounds and I don't necessarily want an easy way out but the help of a supplement would be great. If anyone has any info on this I would appreciate some opinions on what they think! Thanks everyone.

I don't know about this product but I will state that spamming and outbound links are a great way to get people banned and posts deleted. This type of question often invites exactly that.

Flat out there is no easier or healthier way than making positive lifestyle changes. Eat less junk, less unhealthy kinds of fats, cut out all refined sugar and refined flour, no fried foods, no soda of any kind, cut way back on all alcohol, drink lots of water, eat more fresh fruits and vegetables. Eat only whole grains in place of the refined stuff (no more wonder bread). Start walking more, park at the far end of the lot, use stairs instead of elevators or escalators, get out and power walk for at least 45 mins every day. Do a good stretch program like Classical Stretch on PBS (US). You will start to look better and feel better very soon.

It took time to get to where you are and it will take time to get to where you want to be. There really aren't any short cuts.

The last "pill" approved for "weight loss" was Xenical by Roche Labs and that was about 12 years ago now. In reality, it was a "fat blocker" in that it interferred with the absorption of fat in the lower intestine. As a result, you passed more fat (oil) through your stool. Taken daily, at a cost of about $200.00 per month back then, it increased your "weight loss" by about 1 - 1.5 pounds per month.

It is now known as Ali and is sold over the counter in half the strength of the former by prescription only version Xenical. I have no idea what it costs now but if you read the fine print in the commercials, it talks about an additional weight loss of .5 pounds per month.

Therefore, you can assume, that there is nothing on the market today that is proven (as in scientifically proven with research studies to back it up) to help you lose weight. The only thing that is going to help you lose weight is you.

WC about covered it all above...

One other thing to keep in mind...The entire vitamin/mineral/supplement/nutraceutical/weight loss creams, pills and potions indsutry is NOT regulated by the federal government in the U.S. and as a result are free to make almost any claim that they desire to make without penalty. More than 80% of Weight Watcher clients are repeat clients.....same for Jenny Craig, Atkins, etc.

Weight loss is simple: Burn more calories than you consume = weight loss Consume more calories than you burn = weight gain.

What's hard is getting ourselves to stick with it for the rest of our lives.

There is no pill, potion or cream that will help you lose weight. Only you can help you.

    I wish you the best!

Wow there seem to be so many natural supplements these days it's hard to work out which one is best! I hadn't heard of mango supplements before I check out the forum. I've always sworn by green tea, as I have found i feel good when i take it and the weight loss is slow but steady which makes me think it's safe. I bought some patches online because i read the site and it had a lot of medical and scientific research behind the products which made me think they were safe - (edit what could be deemed as potential spam)
