Ok, so I had pre eclampsia (spelling) with my second child and am still trying to loose the water weight. I gained almost 75 lbs in water weight by the time she was born. Anywho. I have been big boned most of my life and now I am chunky. Everyone on my dad's side of the family is diabetic..it hasnt skipped a generation and with being overweight I'm scared. I have tried the gym but with a full time job and 2 kids its hard to get there let alone get a sitter while i'm there. I have tried healthy foods and with not having the money for fresh foods it didnt really work. I went to the Dr. and they wanted to prescribe me the HCG pill that's like $400 a month. Any suggestions on how to loose the weight (in a healthy manner) at a reasonable price. I dont want to loose it fast because I heard that you will gain it all back plus some. I just want to be able to play with my kids and keep up with them without having to sit down every few minutes. Please help!!
Hey sweet, whilst I can't relate to humans, I have a diabetic Husky, so I understand how hard that is, worse for an animal, they can't inject themselves, and so I can't travel and have to get up early every day, I understand you don't want to be on a time regiment for the rest of your life..
You say you can't afford fresh, but frozen apparently really is just as good, the bottom line is, exercise, every step you make is an exercise and quit junk, oils, white bread, more than 200gms of red meat, try lean meats and try white meats over red...
Can you grow green vegetables, beans, spinach, tomatoes for instance?
Can you stomach fruit, low fat yoghurt, wholemeal bread, egg whites, tuna.... These are other foods plus small handful of nuts that would be good for you and non fattening
Also, snacks, as your hungry, fruit, nuts, fruit, nuts, if you can't afford a capsicum I think you call them peppers, celery to cut up as sticks.
