Okay, so, heres my question.
Over the past year ive been Calorie counting. I have lost some weight with it, from 13 Stone to 11 Stone 3lbs.
I have been on 800-1000 calories a day. [Not EXACT everyday. had some times off and meals off ect]
Im 5ft 7, i weigh 11st3lb currently. My BMI is 24.6.
When i started out my periods were 5-7days long, heavy and painful.
Since i started losing weight they have gone down to 2-4 days, quite light and only 1 day of pain.
My question is, IF i carry on dieting like i am could my period stop?
Am i putting myself in danger of never having kids just to be thinner?
Do i need to up my cals and if so do you think it'll change my period again?

Yes. Periods can stop if you are underweight, overweight, or depriving your body of enough vitamins and minerals. My question is, IF i carry on dieting like i am could my period stop?
Unless you have a genetic or serious medical condition preventing the ability to have kids no. Periods can get back to normal once the body feels normal again.Am i putting myself in danger of never having kids just to be thinner?
You would need to talk with a nutritionist. Your period will change as long as your body is changing. If people are stressed out that signals a body change and their period will change. Much is the same for the body change during weight loss.Do i need to up my cals and if so do you think it'll change my period again?
There are those who believe that dictionaries should not merely reflect the times but also protect English from the mindless assaults of the trendy.
Your diet has a lot to do with your menstrual cycle. Mine is very sensitive to my eating habits, if I cut down on calories drastically for just a few days it can throw my period way off
I was told by my doctor that if I cut my calories below 1200 that I was putting myself in danger. And that a diet that is so constricted needed to be monitored by a physician. So I believe that you first step should be consult your physician.
