    Cool Walking!! Who knew?

So I started walking not too long ago...maybe a month or so? I've dropped 25 lbs...I'm not sure all of that was from walking because I didn't weight myself when I first started. However, everyone has noticed! Myself included. My stomach and waist are both smaller and I've lost weight in my face. And somehow, my breasts are being spared.

A 30-minute walk everyday works wonders, especially if you are eating healthy. Keep it up.

Congratulations! And how about the benefit of clearing one's head too? As I recall, you have been through quite a bit. For me, walking helps me think through whatever life throws at me.

Weight loss AND you got to keep your breasts. Sounds like a good deal to me.

Oooooh yes!!! HUGE stress reliever. I'm not eating as healthy as I should but I'm more conscious about what I put into my body. I need to start some type of weight training so I'm not walking around with a bunch of loose skin! Eeek.

I thought loose skin is only a side effect if you lose weight too quickly, someone correct me if I'm wrong? Meh...

HIgh reps, lower weight IF you're trying to tone and tone alone.

Twenty five pounds in a month is pretty rapid/significant weight loss...please be careful...and work a bit harder on better eating.

One to two pounds of weight lost in any given week is considered average and healthy for most people. Even less for some others.

Weight loss, like life is a marathon NOT a sprint.

    I wish you the best.....

i don't think it's how fast you lose the weight (although may play a role) but it's also how much weight you started with and lost, as well as your age. The older you are, the less elastic/resilient your skin would be..
