I know this has been around for a loooonnng time..But after the diet pills and other methods didnt seem to be working for me, I went back to this old time favorite to give me a JUMP START. and it actually worked for me. I lost 8lbs in a week..from 187 to 179 and maintaing a healthy diet with exercise...still losing and and eating more fruit and vegetables. I just needed something to get me going, to see some progress..and this is it..without taking any pills...its been a while and i still seem to be keeping it off!!!thats what matters

You lost weight because you are consuming nothing good for the body, you can think of it as merely putting something in your stomach so you do not feel hungry at the time but nutrition wise you are not adding anything of benefit so your body decides to lose excess water weight. The weight will come back unless you use proper diet techniques with correct portions, fruits and veggies, and exercise.

arent the cabbage itself and all the other vegetables that make up the soup beneficial. I was always told they were. and the step by step daily routine of the seven day plan include other fruits and meats like chicken, fish, or beef that assist. cabbage soup is not the only thing you eat daily, and thats why we are not hungry..and yes, i have continued with correct portion size and exercise, but like I said this was only a jump start and a push in the right direction.
