Hi Everyone--
Please don't harp on me for this post.
I am underweight (5'4 and 87 pounds). I do strength training and walk 2 miles 3-5 days a week. I don't get a lot of intense cardio because of my weight. However, I have noticed that over the last year my legs have increased in size, and I don't feel it's for the better considering it is disproportionate to the rest of my body. When I sit down and then squeeze my calves or upper thigh I can see cellulite. Is this cellulite normal? If not, how do I get rid of it?
It isn't my diet--I eat extremely healthy (no fried food, no high fats, lots of lean protein, whole grains, fruits and veggies.. about 1800 calories a day 40 or less grams of fat) Am I not getting enough exercise? I used to waitress while going to college, and now that I've graduated I have an 8-5 Mon-Fri desk job. So I'm worried that this is contributing to the changes I'm seeing in my body. Should I be doing more? If so, what?
Thank you in advance :-)
Welcome
Firstly, it is normal and most women suffer from this look at the skinny actresses that have it that Women's Day and the likes post pictures of....
I think walking is great how much water do you drink that's important to this situation as well.
40 or less grams of fat, I believe should be 25...Calories 2500... For a healthy body.
Lastly, is there anyway you can do leg weights? even at home? This strenthens the muscles even more and can "hide" cellulite alot.
Why would we harp on you? We are allowed to want to be even better than we are, even if it is our bodies
