Congratulations.So I went ahead and did the LoseIt just to see what I have done so far today.......and I am about 700 calories over the budget they allow and I haven't even had dinner yet!!! OMG!!! That is def an eye opener....I feel like I didn't even eat that much!!You just had your first HUGE breakthrough on your weight loss journey!!!! This is exciting. We all had this breakthrough in our journey as well. I was one of those people that ate pretty healthy to begin with, but was going significantly over my needed calories per day and didn't even know it!! This will teach you to research things you're eating, to choose your calories more wisely, to pick things high in fiber, high in protein, low in calories.

You'll go through a period here where you'll feel like you're depriving yourself because your body is USED to eating SO much more than what it needs. But remember, you're not depriving yourself, and the feelings like that will pass. I stay below my needed calories almost every single day, and I never feel deprived or starved.
Also, set a goal for yourself of NO eating past 6:30pm. Finish your logging for the day at 6:30pm and do not allow yourself anything else. It's crucial to break the "snacking" habits, and you definitely can break it.![]()
