    Hi there,

I am 19 years old and have been an competitive athlete for over 10 years, I am now a student and still a competitive cyclist.

I recently went for testing and i need to lose weight, mainly from my belly and arms.

I eat rather healthily and I train 4/6 times a week yet the weight is still not coming off? Could it be my body is so used to intensive exercise that it does not tap into my fat reserves?

I recently bought Evox Xenalean to try aid the fat loss...any thoughts?

    Any help will be appreciated!

A cyclist whom rides almost every day, and eats right, will always be lean.

If the fat is in your belly and arms, then it's the food intake given you cycle, that needs to change.

I don't know what Evox Xenalean is and nor am I going to google it, nothing works better than water, correct food intake, believe, and exercise.

As a competitive athlete, you must work with trainers correct? Or perhaps you know some trainers in the industry, in the areas you train in?

I would talk to one of the professionals about your nutritional intake. As CW said, if you're intensely training for competitive cycling 4-6 times a week, you shouldn't have much trouble losing the excess weight. You could also try changing the workout that you do - focusing on strength building in your upper body (might help tone up those arms and lose the fat). However, it sounds like there is something off with the food you're fueling your body with, and there's hardly any resource better than a trainer (or sports nutritionist) to help you get that sorted out so you can lose the weight in your belly and arms the right way.

Evox Xenalean is not the right way and could do more harm to your body than good. As someone who values staying competitive, you should reconsider this choice!
