at least your pms should be over for the results this weekend. mine just started this morning. lucky. ohh well hopefully i won't bloat out like a whale this month. water. water. water. any way...

yesterday my calories was 1283 with protein of 57, fiber of 24 and sodium of 3590. i burnt 219 calories with exercise which put me 136 under budget. i drank 11 cups of water and did 1 set of lunges, chair dips, squat thrusts, bridges, and crunches. i had three walks, 60 minutes, 55 and 15. and of those i made a consious effort for 5 minutes to suck it in!!! my back has been really hurting so i made an emergengy stop at the chiropractor yesterday after work. he said no more exercising for yesterday and to use heat and ice therapy for the evening. but he okayed me to go back to it today if i felt better. and i do.

thank goodness it is friday. it has been a long week. gonna rake leaves this weekend and play with the dog in them. Mack, my rhodesian ridgeback, loves to play in the leaves! it is quite a site and good exercise to boot! i ammmmsooooo geeked about our weigh and measure time. i wish i would have weighed and measured before grandma came to visit but oh well. maybe it won't make that much difference. so i guess, what ever day you all feel like posting results this week end you go right ahead. i can't wait to see what crystal has in store for us on fitness challenge IIII. we are getting fit one month at a time. i love it. thanks to everyone for tagging along. it has proven to be a very fun ride!!!!!

Too bad on the timing with aunt flow. Lol. I hope your back works itself out.

I completely blew off logging my food yesterday. I didn't eat any differently and I did all my workout stuff. I just didn't pit it in the daily diary. I used the elliptical for 45 minutes and lifted weights for 40 minutes. There's this guy that is a regular in the fitness center, and he's real friendly. When he showed up yesterday while I was doing my bicep curls, I had the biggest urge to finish out loud with "100". Lol. Then he told me he was a personal trainer and I had to do it. Lmao! He thought I was serious and was like, "whoa! You did 100?!" (using 15lbs) I told him no, I was just messing with him. I have worked my way up with the heavier weights though. I had been doing 15 lifts in each set, and I moved up to 21 like I had been doing with the 10. It's still tough, but when I first started with the 15, I couldn't even lift the weight that many times. I had to help my arm out with the other hand to finish. Lol. Now I struggle with the last couple lifts, but I can do them. I'll be ready for the 20lb soon. I'm still struggling with the 5lbs with my shoulders though. They're looking more toned though.

The field trip sounds like fun, Chey! I went to UT for my career day in high school. I picked photography to learn about and they showed us around the fitness area. It was pretty awesome! They have a photography department that takes all the sports photos. It sounds like you've picked out a more promising career though.

Alright, I'm gonna plan out the day and get going. Cold front has it down to 49 this morning. I like it, but my joints don't. Lol. I'm hoping to get all my applications turned back in today. Hope everyone has a good Friday.

We have about 2 weeks of real winter here. Not much time to enjoy the winter wardrobe. But on the up side, our winter clothes don't really get worn out. Lol. Oh, and real winter here doesn't usually get below 26. If I ever went anywhere that had a real winter, I don't think I could handle it. I'm a born and raised Texan so I can take the heat, but I don't know about the cold. Lol. We got a few inches of snow last winter and everyone was real excited about that. Everything shut down for the day. Lots and lots of accidents too. We just don't know how to deal with snow, or rain for that matter. It's never a good idea to drive in the rain here. The roads get slick and no one has enough sense to slow down. Lol

heard on the weather that we may have the first snow fluries tomorrow. won't be cold enough for them to stick to the ground. usually we get the first heavy snow by thanks giving tho. so it won't be long. before its all said and done our temp will dip down as low as -32 degrees and if we have a wind chill factor, its even worse. you get use to it tho. just like anything else. cant wait till spring!

I got mixed results from my measurements this morning. Lol. From the beginning of the month: Chest 38 3/4, waist 33, and hips 37 1/2. Then, from this morning: chest 38", waist 32 3/4", and hips 39". I'm not sure how that would happen. Lol. I don't think I measured wrong because it would be hard to have that big of a difference if I did. I'd have to look back to find out what my weight was. I think it was 163. Now it's 164.2. I'm not too discouraged by that because I think I'm still building muscle. My arms are looking more defined and the slim fit pair of jeans I have are tight around my thighs where they used to be loose, and it's not the flabby stuff. Lol. How weird is that, to not fit a pair of jeans because your muscle wont squeeze in.

I'm not sure what to think about the hips. Its weird that I would lose on the other measurements and not here too. I'll have to find some info online and see what's going on with that.

I'm going to be putting part IV together today so PM me if you've got any ideas. I'll post it tomorrow so everyone can take a look. I think we should take Halloween off and start Tuesday, or we could have that optional. Post Monday if you can't resist. I'll probably want to post even though I'll be busy with the kids. Lol.

I started my newplan in 2009 when i weighed 179 lbs at my wedding. My wedding was my wake up call because before that, i honestly hadn't realized how heavy i had become. pictures don't lie. I had gotten down to 148lbs by dec 2010 and then lost my job. i gained 10 lbs back by time i got serious again about my newplan which was may 2011. it has been a long, educational, trying, fun, emotional, frustrating, satisfying........ i could go on and on. but to cut it short, i have had many ups and downs. i have made some wonderful friends here on fitness challenge and i truly believe that part of my success is due to the emotional support we offer one another. i am so glad we all met and joined in on this challenge together.

    08-11, 45-39-42 151.5 lbs
    09-04, 42-36-38 146.5 lbs
    10-01, 39-33-36 141.0 lbs
    10-28, 39-32-36 138.0 lbs

so since we started on 10-1, i lost an inch in the waist and 3 pounds! can't wait to see what you have in store for us crystal. off to rake leaves and already did my yoga, (with the hubby!!!!)
