Default overweight all my life, disgusting.

    Okay, the basics:
    20 yrs old
    220lbs
    5 foot 4
    bmi 37.8
    High Chloresterol, depression,anxiety
no diabetes or thyroid issues as of november 2011

I have been overweight since I first sprouted boobs in the 5th grade. The drs said it was just baby fat, but its clung through the years and packed on. I was 155lbs when I got pregnant and 165 in January 11 when I had my C section. Since then I have had my gallbladder removed and packed on 55 lbs. Ideally, I`d like to be at 135-145 at the most (since i have DDD boobs I figure 140 will be the best I can do)
I have dieted since I was 15, cut out carbs, sugar, anything really. I`ve tried over 20 different pills from green tea to Phenemine. I have tried fasting, purging and the lemonade diet with all the weight coming right back. At this point I dont even feel hungry anymore, ever. I eat so my husband doesn`t become concerned, but am disgusted with anything that touches my lips. I have tried P90x and Instanity, but I cant keep up and only last a few minutes. I`ve tried Pilates, Yoga, powerwalking and DDR on the xbox with only a few lbs lost after a month or so.
I drink water all day, and eat only veggies, fruit or chicken. Nothing deep fried, no real sweets cept 3 days a month when I`m pms-y. Exercising gives me massive debilitating migranes so bad that I have been to the er 3 times in one month to have CTs to make sure everything was okay. Also recently I have developed pains in my ankles, so walking, running, jogging, etc all end up in swollen ankles and limping after 20min.
My weight has become a constant issue. Nothing fits, not even my maternity clothes, caring for my child has been getting harder and harder as he is learning to crawl and get around. Even cleaning the house now takes the wind out of me.

I don`t know what to do, I`ve asked my dr for help, maybe something she could perscribe, but she refused me. And having recently lost my job and became a stay at home mom living off foodstamps, we can`t really afford surgery or anything drastic. They say its all about lifestyle changes, but I don`t know how much more I can change without just stopping eating alltogether.

Have you ever thought that maybe you are not eating enough? I know it sounds odd, but you really need to eat for your body to be willing to give up fat/energy. Register for a calorie tracking website. I use Livestrong. Log in and faithfully track ANYTHING that passes your lips. Do some research on your minimum calorie intake with your activity level. You need to maintain a minimum number of calories. If your body goes into starvation mode, it won't give up anything because the fat you have is energy for your body.

well i would just like to say that i'm by no means an expert but from my understanding of things is that you need to eat x amount of calories a day in order to loose weight, if you eat to little a day then your body goes into starvation mode and you won't loose weight you'll keep it on. so my suggestion is to make sure you are eating enough durring the day. there are lots of differnet web sites you can use to keep track of your calorie intake, i use one called calorie count, but i know there are a few other ones that other people on here use. i know that other people will have more suggestions but i hope this little bit helps. mostly you have to give yourself a break, all thoes "diets" don't work, it sounds stupid but it is all about a "lifestyle change" it's about eating healthy balanced meals being sure to get enough protine and other vitamins. and getting enough exercise a day to balance things out. keep your chin up tomorow is an other day lol just take it one day at a time.

I try to eat at least 3 times a day even though I`m hardly ever hungry. I just finished some rice and ground beef actually. When I do eat its usually less than 500calories. The other day I actually ate one of those Valleyfresh steam bags of veggies by myself..the family size, no salt or butter. it was gross but I felt like I needed veggies. Though I barely eat I also keep up w my vitamins, I double my gummyvites and my vitamin c every day. I know there`s no real excuse but it took me awhile to get down to 220 and Ive held it here for a month now.

i would start logging your calories in one of the web sites that have been suggested. it will not only tell you if your getting enough calories a day but also tell you what your getting enough of or too much of or not enough of. Also i'd like to add that I'm sure you didn't gain all the excess weight overnight, so keep in mind that it's not going to come off over night eather. you should join the fitness challenge VI we have a nice group there that provides a great support system for each other. you might find that helpfull.

You're not disgusting. Shesh woman...the first thing you've got to get rid of is that attitude. The second thing is, like others have said, get yourself set up on one of the good calorie counting websites. I use MyFitnessPal or Calorie Count. You want to track not only your caloric intake, but your protein, your fiber, your sodium, etc. These websites do all that for you once you enter in what you eat. It sounds like you're not getting NEAR the nutrients you need and your metabolism has turned into a snail..........baaaaaaaaaaarely moving. Fortunately, that can be changed. I got my mom started using a calorie counter website, she has struggled with slow metabolism and weight issues for YEARS with no success. Since starting this, she realized she wasn't eating near what she needed, therefore her metabolism was sluggish and she couldn't lose. She has been SO successful............ and you can be too. But like I said....gotta lose the defeated attitude first.

Now...come on over and join us in the latest Fitness Challenge. You'll find lots of moral support there from women much like yourself who are finding success in calorie tracking and regular exercise.
