February is here, and it's a short month so lets work hard, hopefully we've all stuck to our goals and seen some progress last month, lets not lose steam now we can do this one step at a time together. Lets try to keep with our resolutions from last month I don't want to give up this year, lets all work on being a happier healthier version of ourselves by the end of this month!

    Rules:

1: So same as all the other challenges, post your height, weight and measurements (hips, waist, bust) in your first post. Measure and weigh in the morning right after you get up and use the bathroom on the first day and don't re-check until the last day.

2: Fiber and protein are an excellent way to keep full, along with eating the right food. I know not everyone can get on every night and post their fiber, protein, calories and exercise for the day, but I'd really like for us to try, if you can't than once on the weekend is fine.
    3. Exercise, this is defiantly not my strong suit, so for this month I'd like everyone to post every day if they can on what they are doing for movement. I'd like you all to try to do something every day, whether it be for 15 minutes or more but "do" something. I really find it helps keep me motivated when I log on every day and see everyone else has done something than I feel like I NEED to as well, so I would really like to see everyone post as often as possible. (if you can't than at least once a week please)

4: Water!! Water is a naturally occurring thing in the world. Why not use what our earth gives us? A person who doesn't drink coffee should drink 8 cups a day. If you drink coffee, you need to drink the same amount of water as you did coffee (and it doesn't count in the 8cups) in order to kinda cancel them out. If you're not a fan of plain water, you can add water flavors (most stores carry boxes of them) and make tea~ just make sure the tea is decafe.
    5. We started this last month but Id like to continue it. When a person decides they wish to lose weight, they normally set a goal for themselves. But, one of the major mistakes people make when they make a goal, is that they give themselves a short amount of time to lose a large amount of weight. In this month, I want everyone to make a goal for themselves in the first post of a weight goal that they wish to achieve by the end of the month. Please make it only a pound of a few, not 10+. Also, dont forget that, this is February, a shorter month then others, so when youre deciding your goals, adjust them accordingly or realize that if you pick a large goal that you may need to work harder for them.

6: This is also something new from last month that I think we should continue. I want everyone to take a picture of yourself (face, whole body, side view, doesn't matter) and post it. I wish to see one of everyone at the beginning and end of the month. You may not be seeing a change, but others may and can help encourage you that youre changing. And I feel I shouldn't need to say this, but I will. PLEASE have clothes on!! If you want to take a picture of yourself in nothing for yourself or your SO, do so. But PLEASE don't post it!!!
    7. Rewards, I really like the idea of rewarding yourself once a week, I think it helps keep us motivated; the key is it can't be food. Rewards should be things you enjoy but don't often get to do, something you've been wanting to buy, a day off from work, a new book, etc. etc. etc. So Id like to hear what everyone is rewarding themselves with.

So now if youre ready! on your marks, get set.............GO! lol Lets have a great month even if it just means that at the end we feel better!

Good morning. I do not have my bust, waist or hips right now, but I am 5'5" and 132 lbs. I would like to lose 2-3 lbs this month.

I am going to Mexico in June and I would be in shape and look good in a swim suit. I plan to start the P90X training in hopes to achieve my goal. Lately I have been trying to eat healthier for example, I will have an orange for breakfast, an apple for a snack, a lean cuisine for lunch and then either yogurt or a V8 tomato juice for a snack in the afternoon and whatever i make for supper that night. I haven't been able to budge these 2-3 lbs for the last couple months... I was doing some research and I think it might have to do with my fruit consumption. There is a lot of sugars in fruit and I feel maybe I am consuming too much. I am going to cut back to 1 piece of fruit instead of 2-3 pieces a day and see if that makes a difference. Good luck everyone!

Cyndie i will most certinly join you on your walk but mine will be tonight as i'm going with a friend lol.

Lizzard Welcome to our group i'm glad your joining in this month. I don't know if you'll find this helpfull or not but i know a lot of us use some free websites for calorie counting....can't post links on here but I use one simply called calorie count. there are a few other ones but i'm not sure of the names but i'm sure someone else will chime in here. you might want to give that a try as it tells you how many calories you should be consuming and keeps track of everything your getting such as protine, fiber and all your vitimins and such.....hope this helps.

Now my stats. (still embaressed but oh well i'm working on it) So here goes, I'm 31, i'm 5'6 tall, My start weight was 415 my current weight is 382lbs. My goal is to loose 5lbs this month. my measurements are 71.5/ 57/ 62 i know horrable but again i'm working on it) I am going to have to upload my pic tomorow cuz i can't seam to get it to do it today

Hope everyone is having a good day today

good morning all. i took it easy yesterday. i took a much needed day off from most of my exercise. my calories were 1213 with protein of 32 and fiber of 37. i burnt 107 calories with exercise which put me 94 calories under budget. for exercise i had a 40 minute walk. today on the other hand i am going to work those abs. i am going to do crunches with a pause. you go up to your crunch half way and pause, then go the rest of the way up then pause, go half way down and pause and then the rest of the way down. it gives your abs a much stronger workout! gonna do squats after every bathroom break. what is everyone else doing? how was your walk yesterday gibs?

P90X is a 90 day work out, its intense, but it has a variety of work outs and it truly works...not easy, but you will most definately see results.

Gibson- I actually have a calorie counter on my phone. Downloaded an app last month

Hello everyone, So for me today i am going to go for a walk, and i think Cyndie i'll join you and do squats every time I take a bathroom break also but I'm also gonna do push ups

My protine for yesterday was good at 51g my fiber was way to low at 23g my intake was not so great yesterday i didn't eat properly at all, it was just a crappy day. So my intake was 1227 my output was 2957 and my net was -1731 i drank waaaayyyyyyy to much coffee yesterday and i didn't drink enough water.....it was just a rough day. But when i got up today i made a promise to myself that today was going to be a better day. so i have ate breakfast so far, (toast and peanutbutter) i've drank no coffee yet today, and i have drank 1 cup of water but i'm about to fill out my water bottle and when i've drank that it will be four cups. so i think the day is starting to look promicing lol.

So i'm wondering what everyone's rewards are going to be? my weekly reward this weekend is just going to be to take some "me" time and read my book and get up when i want to instead of when someone else needs me to lol. and i'm rewarding myself because even though i haven't been so good at my nutrishion this week, I have learned and recognise my mistakes and am making a contious effort to change my behavior. The old me wouldn't have even admited that there was a problem, so i think i've come a long way. What's your reward everyone?

Cyndie what are you doing for your prep work this week? are you sticking to your plan? You can do it i know you can
