In order to loose belly fat you will need to do a few things.

- reduce carbs (white breads, starchy foods, no beer please)
- reduce overall body weight (do as much cardio exercises as you can)
- reduce your caloric intake (start off not going over 2000 calories a day and cut back 10% every 2 weeks until you get it down to about 1600 calories. Don't drop below 1200.

- do ab/core exercises. (I put my legs bent on the bed with back on the floor which simulates a crunch position, then do situps without coming all the way up.
- twists in chairs and get down on all fours and reach your arm under your chest and act like you are grabbing up. This creates a V in the waistline. (I recommend Denise Austins' "Get Fit Fast ABS" tape. I has 3 levels and helped me alot. Also, Denise has had kids and gives recommendations on a tummy exercise for that hard to flatten lower part of the ab. Hope this helps. Oh by the way, you need to have a bowel movement everyday (I recommend Ultra Fiber tablets made from whole fruits/veggies, take about 5/6 everyday and wheaties cereal and ground Flax seeds (you can sprinkle it on the cereal). If your colon is backed up your stomach will stay poochy and your metabolism will be slow. Don't use hard laxatives they will cause harm to your body. Drink the 8 glasses of water of course.
