Pag,

According to one site an allergy to soy could cause you to feel dizzy. If you are allergic to soy, please be careful with the protein bars many of them get their protein from soy. The Cliff Builder Bars and South Beach Meal replacement bars are two that I tried that are soy base protein bars.

I'm SO glad I came back here to read again. I had no idea the builder bars had soy based protein. No wonder they gave me weird stomach issues!

So....I wish you all great success! I will be going for a low fat diet, eating small high protein meals and exercise

Good luck and thank you.

Good Morning,

Weekly report...I'm down another 2 1/2 pounds so, that is 6 pounds in two weeks. Not doing to bad so far but I really need to try harder during the weekend. I seem to really fall off at that time. I am able to pick it back up during the week and that seems to help a lot .

I picked up the designer Whey to try this week and it really is good. I'm not sure if it is THAT good for the price difference though. The Body fortress isn't bad and I can drink it without choking it down

What you others think about the different brands of whey?

Regina~

Hi Ladies:

First of all Tabby sorry to hear that you can't continue on this particular diet but stay on this forum and we will support whatever you are doing so you will have success. Second congrats Regina.....6 lbs awesome keep it up.

I use Designer Whey and it tastes good to me. I haven't tried any others yet I've only been doing this diet since 4/2. I have lost 6 lbs so far.

It's getting easier each day. I think this week I'll do even better. Last week I ate 2 100 snacks in a day plus I was putting yogart, fruit in my shakes. This week I am cutting back on that part. Maybe use half the yogart instead just to cut back on a few more Calories. I figure I'm in the 1300-1500 range right now. Like to be 1200-1300 just for a couple weeks.

I did find the orange/creme light yoplat yogart. I put 1/2 inmy shake and OMG talk about good.., it's good.....I use 3 oz choc soy milk, vanilla soy powder and vanilla whey 1/2 yogart....6-7 ice cubes and its yummy....
The yogart is 100 cal so I am splitting it up nto the two shakes so that will count as one of my 100 cal snacks.

Take Care ladies keep up the good work.....

Talking Finally Starting!

Well everyone I've finally started this diet . Im pretty excited! This morning I had a chocolate whey protein shake with 1% milk since I couldn't find soy milk this morning. I also had a half of a banana. The shake actually doesn't taste half bad except the horrible after taste.

I can't wait to see weigh myself next week. Looking forward to loosing weight together with everyone else. Oh yes im looking to be back to my old self at 135 but I'll be more than happy at 145.

4/7/2008 - 168 lbs

yeah I wrote last week and told you that the designer whey is good... its worth the extra cost to me because the body fortress must have something in it that dont agree with me.... anyway i am mixing 1 scoop of the designer whey with 1 scoop of the soy powder vanilla from walmart and 2 cups of light choc soy milk and this is my brkfst and lunch shake....

GOOD LUCK and PRAY FOR ME>>>>>>>>>>>>

thanks lorie
