Default Sweatpea

I live in Middle Tn in White House, it is about 20 miles north of Nashville on the Kentucky border.

Here is what I do

Breakfast

1 cup Soy milk
1 scoop whey powder (Precision Engineered)
1 cup fress fruit (on the side not in my shake)
1 cup coffee with milk and sugar

10:00
100 calorie snack (I eat with my students)

12:20
Same thing I had for breakfast
(Sometimes I add a salad or something green)

5:30
whatever I fix for my family
grilled meat, green beans, salad
sweet tea

8:00
100 calorie snack

I also drink 3 bottle waters a day. As you can see, I eat 5 meals a day. I do not let myself get hungry. The greens and fruit are keeping me satisfied. My fruit choices are banana, fresh pineapple, and grapes. Sometimes I eat apples and peanut butter.

I have not started exercising again. I do notice cravings with stress. I under stress right now with it being the end of the year.

Good luck, mix it up to suit your style. It has to work for you. Watch your calories newbies. If you don't get enough, you will not lose weight, your body will start to store the fat because it is afraid you are starving it. As you can see, I get more whey than soy. This balance works for me better than equal amounts of soy and whey.

Default Newbie

Hey all,
My name is Jessica and I am new to this site. I bought my first women's health magaizine because I wanted to do the soy and whey protein diet. I bought my protein powders and milk and then never started the diet because I started a new job. I am not three months into my new job and continue gaining weight. It has gotten so bad that my doctor is now checking my thyroid, etc... Now I have decided that I am ready to start this diet, and my DH has thrown away my magazine. I think I can remember most of the diet, but I would appreciate it if someone would send me a copy at ***DO NOT INCLUDE EMAIL ADDRESSES***. My little boy is now 16 months old and I want to have more energy to give him all of the attention that he wants. I want to be healthy and set a good example for him and I know that in order to do that, I have to get healthy now. I really need support and I am so greatful that I have found this site. It is really encouraging to read about all of the success that some of you have had...congratulations! I hope that in a few months I will be able to update you about my positive results! Anyways, for anybody out there that is needing support, feel free to give me a note. I will be glad to do whatever I can to help! Please pray for me!!!! I will definitely need it!
Jessica

I think I have decided to place a reorder with Revival for the bars, I just cant feel full with the whey and soy drink, and with the bars I feel like I am eating something, and I figure that if I order 60 bars, which would be 2 a day, it would come out to about $3.50 per bar, and if I ate out or bought groceries, it would be about the same or higher.
I just dont want to stop since I have lost 14 pounds, and I still need to lose 30 more.
I guesss I am more or lessjust talking myself into it by sending this message...LOL

Ok so I have started on the Soy and Whey protien diet, I am doing the Shakes made at home I do 1scoop of 100% Whey Protein Powder from GNC mixed with 1 1/2 Cups of Silk SOy Milk and a 1/2 cup of frozen fruit. I have one for breakfast and one for lunch then a 300 cal or less lean cuisine for dinner, But I have just started, and I am about 120 lbs over weight so I am wondering if any one knows how fast the weight will come off and also if any of you have any beginners tips for excersize, I am very out of shape and need to start slow but also lose the weight fast....
