Default Looking for Support

Hi gals!

My name is Joanna, I am a 5'3'' 22 year old female.
Here is my weight fighting story --

Since early childhood and until about 11 I was a very fit girl. I was into professional swimming, and 2-hour daily training routines kept me in a great shape. I was the skinniest girl in the school, and life was good.

However, at 12 I quit the swimming, but kept all of my old habits, like eating a lot and sleeping a lot. I have a fat streak running in my family, and by 18 I found myself somewhere between overweight and obese. The thing is I always had those excuses like "I'm still growing", "I have a wide frame", "I eat as much as anyone, it's just my metabolism is slow, because I'm pear-shaped", etc, etc, etc.

Last summer I accidentaly looked in the back view mirror in the JCPenny fitting room, and I was in shock -- my a$$ was a good third of my leg!

I then I told myself -- I don't care how much it will hurt, I don't care if I have to go against my genes, I don't care if my homework gets done or not, I MUST LOSE all that darn fat!!!
I also told myself that I will do what I can naturally and without drugs, but if I find this impossible, I WILL take drugs.

And by the means of torture, I lost around 30 pounds last summer. No drugs. I also flunk a class that I had to sacrifice for the purpose of going to the gym.
I didn't gain anything for the past 9 months, but I have some more left to lose.

My problem is that I tend to overeat sometimes. It's all healthy food, but just too much of it. I keep going to the gym almost every day, and therefore I don't gain. But then again, I don't lose either.

I found out that boredom, anxiety and bad mood are my most common reasons for sitting on my butt, staring at the TV screen and shoving fat-free cottge cheese down my throat.

I would like to find a person with similar story and similar problems.
Please feel free to contact me by my email joffa_1967yahoo.com

Later!

Well, it sounds like you are in the right frame of mind and you are making a good effort. That is great! You see where your problem lies and that is good too. Now, you will just have to put your foot down and say "no more over-eating!" It will help if you eat smaller meals 5 times a day instead of 3 or so huge meals a day. If you get into the habit of eating many small meals, your stomach will shrink and you will no longer have the desire to eat huge amounts of food. Also, eating that way will help boost your metabolism.

The only way to break free of your problem is to put your mind to it. When you are preparing your meals, do not make large quantities. If you do, devide it up so that you have leftovers for the next day or something. Don't try to eat it all at once.

You can do this! You are on the right track! Keep yourself busy with activities and things that will keep your mind off of food. And keep a positive attitude! Don't let things get you down and put you in a slump!

Default I know how you feel

For years I was exercising, eating healthy, & doing everything I was supposed to but yet I still could not lose weight and my health seem to be getting worse. I know there are hundreds of us out there that are doing all the right things but yet we still can't seem to shed those lbs & inches. Anyway, I could not understand why I felt so tired & had no energy even after coming home from the gym. I swore I had a hormone that was so out of whack because instead of having more energy, I could fall asleep right where I happend to be standing. I think I may have even dosed off behind the wheel a few times. It was a nightmare. I would tell my husband that I thought I was supposed to have more energy after going to the gym. Anyway, I attended a health fair last year & there was a booth that had a product that was safe & natural and would help with energy, & mental clarity (I had mental fogginess too & could barely think clearly anymore). And as a side benefit they said I would lose weight. Of course, I thought yeah right... I had already tried just about every diet out there, anyway, I was desperate and needed energy badly. I was invited to attend a seminar where there was a dr. that explained how & why this product was helping so many people. What he had to say made so much sense to me. I guess because I have had health issues for over 20 yrs & have been on so many meds & had so many surgeries. There were also people there that had tried the product and were sharing their results with their family & friends whom they had invited. To make an already long story short, I decided to try it (out of sheer desperation) anyway, by day 3 I had so much energy & could think clearer AND I had actually lost 4 lbs! As I continued the program I felt better & better each day, I felt as if a cloud had been lifted from my brain, slept like I had not slept in years & by day 9, I had lost 7 lbs, & 8 1/2 inches (2 inches off my waist)! Within 1 1/2 months I had dropped 2 sizes. I was also struggling with some female problems, stomach problems, etc and this program helped me with this too. It's no miracle it's just an easy to follow cleansing & detoxification program loaded with organic nutrition that is changing people's lives. If you want more info send me a pm. It really does work!
