Thread: I need to lose weight, diet pills????

    Day***5**** Another good day, I haven't been on the scale today, will wait till tomorrow. I just eat regular, but no candy or chips, but I don't miss it at all. I eat my 3 meals a day but not a huge plate full like I use to, am the good thing is I am not hungry. This is fine with me, I don't feel like I am on a diet.

    So does that mean that you weigh yourself only every two days? Aren't you too curious if you have lost any weight when you get up in the morning? Why do you eat three meals a day? I thought that five meals a day would be much healthier but I might be wrong.

    Yes I would love to get on the scale every day, but I decided to do it every 2 to 3 days, I'm afraid that if I do it every day and don't see any weightloss I might eat more that day, silly idea, but it works for me. Right now 3 meals a day is enough for me, why are 5 better? I mean I do eat an apple inbetween, I don't think I could eat 5 a day.

    But don't you lose weight every day? Maybe weighing yourself every day would even motivate you more! Or don't you think so?
    Well I am not sure why but most nutritionist say that it is healthier to have five smaller meals. Unfortunately I don't really know why. But I will look it up! Hopefully I will find the answer!

    Maybe you are right about weighing yourself everyday, but what if you get on the scale one morning and you weight is the same as the day before. I know I have been losing every day, but I am sure that one day I will some how be the same. That would interest me about the 5 meals a day, altho I couldn't do it when I work, my boss would kill me.

    Well I think that days like this are just normal. But while weighing yourself every day you might also realize a big weight loss quite fast. And if you lose more than 2lbs a day you should keep in view this. I mean you want to lose weight in a healthy weight, right? Well you might eat an apple-do you think your boss would even kill you for that?

    I guess you are right, better keep an eye on how much I lose, it is not good to lose to fast. I will weigh myself now everyday. I guess I missunderstood the 5 meal a day thing, I thought you ment 5 meals a day, but an apple counts as one of the 5? Then that would be OK, then I do eat 5 meals a day, because when I have a break at work I normally eat an apple so joghurt. Is this OK?

    Yes you should really do this. Otherwise your body might suffer under the rapid weight loss.
    Well I am not sure if an apple actually counts as a meal but I think so. You might have a sandwich as well. Yogurt is okay too. I mean others are having a cigarette break-why not having a short food break?

    Day 11**** Well today was scale day, and I have lost 9 lbs, I guess at first it is alot of water, but anyway I am very happy about it. I think I might go and get a check-up this week. I think that would be good to have my doctor take a look. How are you doing crazygirl? I have been eating 5 times a day, 3 regular meals and 2 little things, like fruit, a tiny salad, and I feel full the whole day, no time for snacking.

    ***Day 13**** Tomorrow is scale day again, I know now that I have lost weight, my clothes are not as tight as they were before. I use to hate my clothes, they just never fit right´, and now they at least feel better on. I started jogging, but of course slow and not so long. I have been out of shape for years so I have to get a slow start, but at least I made a start.
