HI, new here, but I've been reading your posts and I'm of course on the eternal quest for weight loss. I haven't found a pill that works, I've tried release, hydroxycut, special K diet, and no serious weight loss yet. I've lost weight twice before by walking almost 3 hours a day. I have an eratic schedule so diets don't work for me. If you can stay on a regular plan, special k is great. I also drink crystal light and that helps to get all the water I'm supposed to in a day.
... also thinkin about tryin relacore...been researching that and i'm not sure yet. twice a week I'm up for almost 24 hours at a time because of my job and that is when it's hard to stick to a diet.

Hi My doc put me on Meridia (insurance does not cover it-But you can get a coupon form Meridia website) and it is worth the money. I have been on it 3 1/2 weeks and I have lost 9 lbs & have been gaining musle as well. I feel great. I have had no side effects except trouble sleeping the 1st week. I wake up motivated and ready to do a exercise tape before work, I have a low fat diet, and I walk in the evenings. This is not a miricle pill you have to some work but I think it got me motivated and feeling good. Keep in mind that all these changes are not a diet but a life change. I can not go back to eating what ever I want. But the end result is I am looking good and I am on my way to being healthy. I tell you that I can see muscle I never saw before.

I don't know if anyone has noticed this, lol, but in general, diet pills are recalled about 5-10-20 years after their FDA approval because of their damaging long term effects. Just because it is approved now does not mean that it is actually safe. Even using them for short periods of time (as in a few months) can permanently damage your heart.
If you are honestly exercising every day for at least 30 minutes and are consuming a diet composed mostly of fresh fruits and vegetables, then you will lose weight. If you are not losing weight with these things in mind, then your body just can't afford to lose any more weight. It's ok to not be a 6! Especially after your late 20's.

There's an awesome tv show out called B*llSh*t starring Pen and Teller. They go around researching all the bs that surrounds us. One of their episodes was on diet pills. There is no pill, patch or drink that will make you magically lose weight. Notice how every pill or drink or what have you says to exercise and eat right? That's because that's the only thing that helps. There's been many studies on many different pills out there and there's no scientific data that shows a pill or patch or what have you works. Something like 1% difference between those who took the pill along with exercise and diet and those who just exercised and dieted.
In my teens I took a diet pill once. First couple weeks were fine, but then I started getting stomach cramps and I was bleeding from my anus. Stopped taking the things and it went away. 50 bucks I'll never get back.
Exercise and diet are the key to normal weight loss. If you have a medical condition that's a different story. But anyone saying a pill or patch works is blowing smoke.
